Well the thing is that if your side is about ready to lose, then I think it would be best to come out as inspector. I think it would be silly to come out second round with just one name, but if it is the difference between winning and losing I wouldn't want to feel guilty over coming out.
I sincerely agree with that logic but it appears at least for now we are in the minority. I say just follow the rule so Strum will play and we can get going though.
I agree with you baconhead. I think the rule is silly, I think strum was just mad he got pawned by jen. I'm fine with the rule, I just hope I don't have to be inspector, haha.

^^If you look, I was against this rule long before Jen ever "pawned" me. I've expressed my distaste for that move ever since I first witnessed it being done. There are plenty of ways to get your point across that you might be the inspector with comments any normal townsperson may say. Perfect case in point, Roocon from last game. He made a suggestive comment and everyone was thinking he was the inspector and rolled with it until Jen came out. Being a successful inspector should take more skill than what is required to type out "I'm the inspector, _____ is mafia" in my opinion.
But yes, I am bitter that Jen ousted us. To paraphrase her own words, "it was lucky." I prefer for this game to require more skill than luck > follow orders. Sorry for that, I guess
Either way, the biggest problem I have with playing this round is that starting Friday morning (1 week from today) I will be out of town and without internet access until late Monday. I doubt the game would be over by then, so I don't want to commit myself to the game and then not be around. If the game started after labor day weekend I'd be more inclined to jump on board, but I think you guys will probably be able to find someone else in the meantime. Or, I guess if by Thursday the game is still going on you could just kill me off.

ENEMY, I'd suggest reading the "rules" (they're on the 1st page of every game) and then read through the last couple of games. That's what I did before my first game.
