There's nothing to suggest either of these guys are innocent, really. It's not mafia-like to apologize for anything though, so based on that I'm just gonna have to go with Higgi for the time being. Although I hope I'm wrong cause I'd love to see some shaved eyebrows

Also Mr. Dogg, nathen votes me so it's down to Bek (who i love) to decide who is going to die. I am a townsperson, you will all see if you give me a chance that I am innocent. It will suck for you fellow townies to see at the end of the game that Nathen was innocent and could've helped you throughout the game but you were to stubborn to believe me in the first place.

Higgi, Day One run-offs don't always ensure a win for the Mafia. There are more Day One run-offs than there are Mafia victories, I know that much. Remember a couple games ago when you were in cahoots with Trillbill & Hippie? That's a good counter-example.
I just think the statement Hippie made was overly general. Run-offs pit different roles against each other in different games, so each one is a different situation. I think it's common sense to assume that a two-Townsperson run-off wouldn't have the same impact on Mafia victory likelihood than, say, a Mafia vs. Inspector run-off.
I want this corrected, for the record. Nathen proposed a self-vote which would be fatal to him, and I think he did it based on the mistake in my post. I don't want to see anyone go down like that, so I'm suggesting to Nathen that he look at the current vote tally before casting that vote. I didn't include Nathen's vote for Nathen because I want to make sure he knows what he's doing now that I've made a correction.
what does that second post have to do with anything? i'd rather go into a runoff and possibly kill mafia than be a deciding vote that sends home an innocent. this isn't a new strategy, so i'm not sure what you're trying to say about me. i'm keeping my vote with higgi.

why is it no surprise i keep my vote for you? i made two innocuous statements and you're already trying to make me sound guilty. THAT is why i'm voting for you. not to mention you seem a little too defensive right off the bat.
sending such a close vote in the first round into a run-off IS NOT NEW. so, your little implication that i may be guilty just because you think it's a "nutsy" move doesn't mean i'm guilty. just means you haven't been paying much attention if you think this is some new strategy.

But if you truly believe that runoffs "GENERALLY ALWAYS" end in the mafia's favor it seems to me that maybe you'd want to avoid them. I'm not talking about previously played games or anything, I am talking about right now, and that basically contradicted itself. And that's all I have to say about that.
I'm not being defensive, just figured that I am going to die and that seemed awfully suspicious to me, so I wanted to bring it up to the rest of the game before i passed.

I forgot to include Jen's vote; at the time I recorded that Higgi was leading you 5-4. That was incorrect. You posted that you wanted to vote for yourself, based on my incorrect tally.
The corrected vote, including Jen's, was a 5-5 tie with Bek as the deciding vote. The 5-5 tie counts Nathen as voting for Higgi, not himself. Nathen voting for Nathen doesn't make Bek the deciding vote - it makes her vote irrelevant, because Nathen would already lead with 6 votes.

the votes were 4 (me) to 5 (higgi) and i seen you voted me and he did leave you in the dust saying that you and bek did not vote yet so I assumed it was 5 to 5 with just bek left to vote which means that it was down to her.

yes...and i explained that i would rather send two people into a runoff, than be the deciding vote in the first round. that's just self-preservation. but, being MAFIA i'm sure you already know that.
however, kudos to you for trying to pull another higgi and turn my words around
