5 way runoff is ridiculous. We need to get this narrowed down to players that we want in it. I'm not going to change my vote now because I want to make sure we can get this down to two or three instead of me changing and voting one person ahead of the rest. Thoughts?
Ok, Wolf, I didn't have a reason to vote for kdogg, so I'll change mine.
ntrt >>> kdogg >>> Wolf ;D
All that talk of of Bacon defending me and then lookie here!!!! NTRT takes you out of the run-off.

Like I said, I just randomly voted for kdogg. I'm haven't defended him in any way; I was just responding to Wolf's request that we get the runoff down from 5 players to 3. Voting's still open -- if there's a reason he should be in the runoff, let me know.

Well, I'm sure if Bacon were around to speak for himself he would insist that he wasn't defending me either and his vote was random as well. If we look at it by Kdogg's standards a vote change like yours is definite grounds for looking at you two as partners...since that is how he came to the conclusion that me and bacon & wolf and stum were working together. I'm just showing everyone how easily one could come up with an accusation like Kdogg's.
Actually I am here I just normally don't defend myself much in the first round I don't care all that much if people find me suspicious then. But none the less I will defend myself now. I decided to vote for Strum before the game even started. In fact I almost always do that. Hell if we were both mafia I probably would have still voted him.
I'll vote Strum since my original vote was for him. I don't mind changing if there is compelling evidence or argument otherwise.
I am actually hesitant to vote Strum off though just for the simple fact that he usually talks a lot during the day and keeps the thread moving when I am bored at work....but since he said he wouldn't be online as much during the day I guess that doesn't really matter.

I'm not saying I'm right... I'm just following suspicious behavior where it leads me. Bacon's vote for Strum came awfully early in the game, following closely on the heels of Strum's vote for Jen. I've already suggested why I think this particular voting behavior is significant.
Why would I be in cahoots with Nitetime, out of curiosity? We voted for each other to begin with. If you're calling that suspicious, why would I be in the wrong for thinking something was suspect in the deal you & Strum made - and earlier, I might add?
I don't think either Jen or myself belong in a day 1 runoff. We're both big [over]thinkers on this game and provide a lot of input and discussion, something that's vital to the townspeople victory.
I'm gonna switch my vote to one of the consistently more quiet players of this game.
strum >>> Jen >>> HGH
I'll go with HGH for now, just for that reason. I could be convinced to change it...

You think Strum and I are working together and you and NTRT did the same thing we did. Why wouldn't you be in cahoots with NTRT? You both voted for each other as Strum & I did. At least when Strum & I changed our votes it was at the beginning and there were still plenty of voters left and a huge amount of time for votes to change over and over. When NTRT changed his vote it was close enough to the end of voting to save you.
If the way Stum & I voted should be considered suspicious then the way NTRT changed his vote to keep you out of the run-off would be too.
I am voting Jen to get another run off and to save myself!!
My first instinct is to vote for you & force you back in the run-off
But seriously, I'm ready to finish round one so I'll vote HGH in hopes that we can just get this over and done with soon. I really don't want a secondthird fourth run-off in round one. I know this means that she will change her vote to me and then I risk getting voted off but that just seems a lot better than being in eternal run-off mode in round one.

You & Strum made a public deal, and both changed your votes afterward. NTRT changed his vote unilaterally without getting any concessions from me. I don't think it's the same situation...
In truth I would probably vote for kdogg if that was a choice. But I am switching my vote to strum bc I think he is the next most suspicious. (And an actual choice right now)

I know I'm usually a quiet player, but I always keep up with the thread and I don't ever hold up voting, with a few exceptions. I don't think that's a valid reason to vote me off the first round. Honestly, you'd vote me off, with no suspicion of guilt because I'm quiet? That's lame.

^^HGH, it's the first round and at the point of my vote there was nothing to go on whatsoever. You know how the game is played, 1st round is almost always random voting and I cast my vote what seems like ages ago and haven't even really been on since to reflect upon it. I come back now to like the 3rd runoff or some crap like this and have a bunch of reading and interpreting to do it seems. In my first skim my radar went off on what seemed like everyone posting, but then realized there aren't that many mafia players in the game
What really makes me curious is how people can say I appear to be the most suspicious player... I mean, I made a vote based on my bitterness of last game and then changed it in an attempt to get a vote taken away from me. How is that suspicious, and go ahead and try and tell me that any one of you wouldn't have done the same damn thing.
I know you are a very avid follower of the game HGH. I'm certainly not suggesting you dont' pay enough attention and you certainly never hold the game up unless you can't help it, but unfortunately the quiet players are the hardest ones to figure out in the long run.
Now that I see my voting options are limited to myself, Jen, and HGH I don't think I can change my vote. I don't think any one of us would typically belong in a 1st round run off to be honest. The mafia are laughing at us right now if none of us are guilty. We have 3 very good players in the running to be offed right now. It's easy for them if we're getting this wrong. My only fear is that there is no right in this situation and we've missed entirely the first round.

I agree completely that I think the three of us are misplaced in the run-off. I only voted for you because you did for me. I wasn't saying that you were lame necessarily for voting for me purely because I'm quiet-- I was more so calling out the people who jumped on the bandwagon with you.
I don't like that I'm being put into runoffs for no reason other than I tend to be quiet. I think that's a horrible reason to stick someone in a runoff, especially when I always show myself to be a good player.
