I was in Barnes and Nobles the other day reading my favorite medical magazines and High Times had an article called, "Roo'd Awakening." It was a nice 2 page article with pictures of Roo, but mainly talked about how they cooked with corn oil. Showed a picture of some sticky corn, which wasn't great quality considering where they were at! I really don't hear too much about it outside of Tennessee, but it was great to see it in such a largely read magazine.
I waited for that issue to come out cause i was real excited about it but man was I let down. Last year they did a decent podcast from roo so I thought they would step it up a bit but they didnt seem to cover much of the festival at all. It kinda seemed like they just made a photo collage and put a generic description on top of it. Now don't get me wrong, author Ashley bordreux (sp?) made me fall in love with her considering the corn oil cooking, her choice in music, and preference of extra-curricular activities. I just think they couldve given us more.
