I know progressive rock isn't usually the genre discussed here...so I'm making a topic discussing it.
Did anyone end up going to any of the Prog Nation tour dates this year? I thought Scale the Summit was green but had talent, while Big Elf was a lot of hype for very little. Zappa plays Zappa was stellar as always, and Dream Theater wasn't bad.
Is anyone seeing Porcupine Tree on this US tour? The new album is pretty solid, and Time Flies is an amazing track!
I wish I could see Porcupine Tree on their current tour. Hopefully next year they'll hit up a venue closer to me or if I'm lucky I'll have the money to travel to see them.
