I'm always excited for and thinking about roo. I'm already asking my friends if they would want to go in 2010. The other night I had a very vivid dream that I was back on the farm and it got me thinking two things: 1)This year I'm gonna get my ticket at presale because I know it'll be awesome no matter the lineup and 2)I must be slacking on my corn consumption to have such a detailed dream ;D
Most Def! There's a pic of my whole Roo group and our neighbors from 09, and it's basically just the roo discussion board since we're all tagged in it and it never dies. Everytime I click on it I see the goodtimes and can't wait for next year.
Is it June yet??! Its really all I think about. Im trying to recruit my 2010 crew. Crew from last year wants to see the lineup first though. Its like come on! There are so many acts that you are bound to have someone you enjoy on the lineup...or even make a new fav band!
Yup I'm already freakin out. I like to search the web year round and change my desktop background to a different roo picture every couple days so i can remember specific things all year and not just weep cause it's so far off!
local weather, don't feel obligated to hang with your friends at Roo. And don't let their obnoxious behavior stop you from going either...you might regret that! At Bonnaroo, you have the luxury of making new friends at every turn. Take advantage of that and turn off your phone!
I know I should have just turned off my phone and let the cards fall where they would, but I was done in by societal pressures.
Anyway now my wife wants to go next year and she wants to get VIP camping. For some reason this doesn't make me enthusiastic or excited. I'm a man of the people, I like being in the big mass of tents out in the cow pasture.
Someone tell me VIP camping is just as fun.
I can't speak for the fun of VIP since both years I've been at the farm it's been GA trailer, but with that said, SCREW them. If there's a time to forget about everything it's at 'roo. If your wife's cool enough to want to go then that might be all you need. Regardless of whether you go VIP or GA you're still gonna have some kicka** neighbors and 80,000 more people all around you ;D
I'm kinda in a funk today 'cause of things at home, but coming on this site and reading people's thoughts about bonnaroo always puts a smile on my face.
btw, I motion for the spell checker on the message reply to be fixed so it doesn't find bonnaroo spelled the wrong way. There's only one way to spell it, and it's BONNAROO
