We're officially a little past 25% of the way to the next Bonnaroo! Is it too early to start getting stoked?
Somehow I think not. At least it's early enough to say BO!!!!!!!
(For those of you who need assistance getting that joke, you see, there are 8 letters in the word BONNAROO. BO being 2 of those letters is 25% of the full word "Bonnaroo". Get the picture. And yes I realize that a joke which must be explained probably wasn't that funny in the first place so there is no need to point that out. Thank you.)

I agree! I just got back from Target where I stocked up on glow bracelets (in the dollar aisle) and also got a cute straw hat on clearance for Bonnaroo 2010!

I got it bad cause it's only Sept. and I'm ready. Gonna be a loooong nine months. Hey that's only as long as it takes for a baby to gestate. We are all like so almost there.
I'm trying to not get excited until atleast when the lineup comes out. Last year I got super excited really early and it made the wait seem sooooooooo long.

Haha, I've been doing the same thing. Everytime me and my roo buddies get together we always ask each other how long til June. It drives all our other friends bonkers!

My first and only 'roo was '08 and I've been soupped to go back since, so I've been psyched for faaaaaar too long.
Everytime I see someone wearing a Bonnaroo shirt I stop them and talk to them for 20 minutes about when they went, who they saw and how they liked it. It makes me feel like i'm back waiting for Robert Randolph to go on all over again.......
Ahh I'm so excited!! I'm constantly thinking about how bonnaroo 2010 will be. And every time I go to a store, no matter what kind of store, and no matter what I'm there for I always find something that will be perfect for bonnaroo....it could be something as pointless as a blinking ring and i'll find a reason why it would be great for bonnaroo.
Is it wrong fer me ta keep beratin' one of my best friends who went with me to '07 and '08 'Roos but skipped out in '09? Yeah, he's married now, but if it hadn't been fer 'Roo he and I wouldn't be the great friends we are now. I hate that bastard fer not comin' last year, but damnit I love the guy.

I had fun at Bonnaroo 2009, but something has happened that has dampened my enthusiasm for 2010...
A couple of friends of mine went this year, we didn't go together but we were there at the same time. They stayed in VIP, I stayed in GA camping. As much as I like these guys as people, they were so irritating at Bonnaroo that if they ever go again I don't know if I can go. It was such a weird situation...they wanted to meet up, but they really didn't want to go very far from VIP and the big stage. They were constantly trying to get me to try to sneak into VIP, the topic of conversation most of the time we were together was how great VIP was etc. etc. etc. It became grating.
So now they say they are going to go next year too and it kind of makes me not want to even go at all, or else just not tell anyone and go in disguise.
my sister, brother-in-law and I decided the other weekend that we are going to go again next year. We were all sad to miss it this year after going to 07 and 08. I'm so excited!
local weather, don't feel obligated to hang with your friends at Roo. And don't let their obnoxious behavior stop you from going either...you might regret that! At Bonnaroo, you have the luxury of making new friends at every turn. Take advantage of that and turn off your phone!
I'm definitely excited. I've never been before. I've been trying to get my friends to make plans to go, but they all say things like, "Why are we talking about something so far into the future?" Oh well. As long as I can find someone willing to split the price of a pair of VIP tickets with me, I'm good!

been pumped since shortly after it ended. i keep saying its so close to December when i can buy my ticket and be officially excited and speculating...but i've been saying that since july...

I know I should have just turned off my phone and let the cards fall where they would, but I was done in by societal pressures.
Anyway now my wife wants to go next year and she wants to get VIP camping. For some reason this doesn't make me enthusiastic or excited. I'm a man of the people, I like being in the big mass of tents out in the cow pasture.
It is. A Lot of great folks to camp with, especially if you do so with us from inforoo. Your still out battling the elements with everyone else. You just have less of a hike and a nice bathroom. Your wife will appreciate that even if you don't ;D

Ah, you guys have NO IDEA how much of my life is spent thinking about Bonnaroo. I'm looking forward to it so much there aren't even words to explain it. And I think one of my best friends is coming next year which I'm soooo excited about. Of course he SAID he wanted to go in 08 and then ended up not going, said he might go this year and ended up not.....but I still have faith that he'll be there next time, he did come in 07 so it's not like he's never made it and he's in SC right now so it's a shorter trip now. And I think he has more money to work with.
I'm just super excited for things to start picking up. It won't be TOO much longer (a couple months maybe?) until we get some Roo Clues and lineup rumors and stuff. And I feel like last time for me all of that was sort of muddled by not knowing if I could go or not, and this time I feel like nothing can keep me away so I'll all the more excited to start hearing rumors.
I'm sooo ready to be back on the farm!! This year was my first ever roo and I went alone, but I had sooo much fun. I haven't been able to talk about much else. I always seem to find a way to bring Bonnaroo up, which is probably pretty annoying itself. I'll be driving to some place and Beastie Boys will come on the radio and I'll get all nostalgic again. I'm sure when it gets closer to June 2010 I'll be too pumped up to even sit still. My sister has agreed to go with me in 2010 since she couldn't this year even though she really wanted to. So at least I have one person to talk to about plans for next year. I keep trying to prepare for it now. I'm sure when June gets here I'll have more than enough supplies for everyone there if I keep this up!
