Soft tacos. My grandmother used to cut up bananas and put those on her tacos, too. My mom puts fruit cocktail and Thousand Island dressing. I just do the fruit cocktail (and meat, cheese, and tomatoes).
Yes, the pineapple would be okay, but I'm wondering about the fruit cocktail....is this something you by premixed on the canned aisle with the juices and fruit cups? Or do you use your own fresh fruit?

Side note, I did get to bathe in the wonder that is Mighty Taco twice in the last three days and my soul is now squeaky clean. If you are ever in Buffalo you must go.

Yeah, the peaches I could handle; there are other fruits you eat with cheese, sour cream, or mexican food, but it's really the corn syrup and cherries that freak me out. Though I'm so oddly fascinated by the use of fruit cocktail on tacos (I totally picture grandma cutting the recipe out like a Better Homes and Gardens in the 50s) that I kind of want to try it.
