So after spending the better part of the last thirty years (moved to Manchester when I was 5) in and around our beloved farm, I have FINALLY ventured out into the world to see what there is to see. My beloved and I moved to the Austin, TX area about two weeks ago. We are loving it so far and can't wait to explore the amazing aspects of this wonderful place. I will apologize for no longer being able to jaunt down the road to take set-up pics, but I am still always willing to give advice about the logistics of our favorite festival. After 8 Bonnaroo's, I can't guarantee we will be making the trip back for #9, but it is very possible we may return (Muse would bring me back for sure!!) . Hope everyone is doing well and already preparing for next June!
I talked to the family last night, and they of course wanted to know if we will be returning for the holidays this year. I told them the earliest they would see me back in Tennessee would be in June. ;D We are loving everything about Austin so far, and I start working at the Alamo Drafthouse today, so it's only getting better.

One of the coolest things about living in Austin (besides just living in Austin) is all the stuff along I-35. There are numerous caves to explore, rivers to go rafting on, the world's largest waterpark (Schlitterbahn), and lots of small towns with B&B's and other such amusements. You could spend a whole summer just going down from Dallas to San Antonio on 35 and seeing all the stuff.
