Once again I can only hope that pollstar is correct. They are now list Yo Mama's Big Fat Booty Band playing Waka. I love the Booty Band as much as anybody on the list so far.
i was originally going to be backpacking and kayaking in alaska this june with NOLS but i found out today that i probably won't get the financing. so i'm thinking instead i'll do a summercamp to wakarusa jump. don't know for sure yet. but this lineup is splendid.
My computer isn't letting me post images for some reason, but the Interstellar Meltdown poster has leaked onto Wakarusa's Facebook. Here's the lineup:

Second round to be announced tomorrow. I don't expect much more than the above list, but they need at least one headliner before bonnaroo tickets go on sale.
I'm hoping for SCI, but I'm not sure if yesterday's announcement was a kind of "We are doing our own thing, so don't expect us at any festivals" or "This is just the start of what we have in store this summer".
I'm all Panic'd out, but unfortunately I think you are correct. That's ok though. I know a lot of people like that one song they play over and over, so I'll just skip that show.

As I said before I'm not a big Panic fan, but the rest of that announcement is FREAKIN' AMAZING!!! UM, Black Keys, State Radio, Great American Taxi, Mother Hips. Bonnaroo needs some huge headliners to compete with this lineup.
Yeah I think they need one more big act to be complete. Kinda like they added the Black Crowes later on last year, but I'm already going to have a ton of conflicts so it doesn't matter either way.
Wow this might have tipped me over the edge to make the 10+ hour drive. I don't like STS9 and was hoping for something really good to come out today... but I never dared to dream that my favorite show of both Roths (Widespread Panic 08) and the band that I follow most (UM) would both be added.
Now we all just need to start daily coordinated prayers for beautiful festival weather... or better yet, somebody invent a weather control machine.
