Wow what a great week for bluegrass fans. First Merlefest and now Delfest.

For $110 bucks and 4 days of camping ... This cant be beat. Plus they have a layway plan too.
Last year they added so many people I wanted to see. Yonder & The Avetts were good enough for me. I heard some horror stories last year. Anybody go? I wanna know before I get a ticket.

I was debating on going last year and glad I didn't. Friend said rain really trashed some camps because they were not expecting it. I can't make it this year because of other plans but this lineup is great.

Wow that looks awesome but it's too far away and I've already got too many shows to go to this summer. I'm really envious of anyone who goes, just because Rex will be there. I've listened to Grateful Grass hundreds of times and it still doesn't get old. Plus Larry Keel will sit in with everyone. I'm already seeing the Avett's in 2010. It would be nice to see Del again. He tore it up with Grisman and Fishman at Roo 09.

My three big that I wanna see is Steve Earle, The Felice Brothers, and Tift Merritt. I'mthinking we get another announcement around the 10th of January.
I've got a few good buddies going to this. With Roo looking less and less likely for me this year, Delfest is now on my shortlist. May is looking REALLY good so far.

Get your ass there danbird. Its gonna be a hell of a weekend.
I was greatly leaning towards Delfest as my road-trip vacation. But... then I bought my Roo ticket, so Del is out of the question now. Its coming up so soon though - very exciting! To everyone who does go - I do hope you have better weather than last year (eww awful, destructive storm!) & It will be a wonderful time regardless!!!
