How awesome would it be if they got Outkast as one of the headliners for the upcoming Bonnaroo. I know there is a lot of people on would want to see the come to the farm. Anyone else agree with me?

in the past 2 years, i have seen them mentioned for both 08 and 09..and yet nothing

I hope not. Outside of B.O.B. and Ms. Jackson, they've never done anything for me. There are a LOT of other artists I'd rather see take up a big name next year (I'd rather have Rage/JayZ/Daft Punk for this slot).

oh man all their best stuff is prior to Stankonia. ATLiens is one of the all time best hip hop albums
edit: not knocking Stankonia at all, very good album, just their other stuff is absolutely amazing

I'll give it a listen next time I get some new music. I guess I've always just been turned off on them by what I heard; Hey Ya was horrid and the two songs I mentioned above were good, but nothing that ever caught my mind (or at least warrants a headlining set at Bonnaroo).
i agree on hey ya... far far from the best work, and that album is by far their weakest. but when you get a chance check out some of their older works for sure. ATLiens is one of the few albums i have on rotation in my car

sorry, I saw this comment, and just had to step in...the double album is NOT their worst. It may not be as great as ATLiens, to you, but by far the worst thing they have ever done is Idlewild...maybe it was just so bad that you never even heard of it, but I like a lot of stuff on Speakerboxx/The Love Below. Not saying it's their best...Aquemini gets my vote for that.
