Iggy and the Stooges need to be at Bonnaroo. Iggy Pop has always had the best stage act. They are just the right kind of legendary underground act that Bonnaroo needs. Just getting Iggy Pop would be real treat, but since he is back with the stooges, why not? They don't need to be a headliner or a late night act, but should definitely play some time during the weekend.Anyone agree?

It looks like on the 2010 tour they will be doing the album Raw Power, which is known for James Williamson's signature guitar work.
From Wiki...
"Reunion with James Williamson (2009–present) In a May 2009 interview, Pop announced his plans to join with Watt, Scott Asheton, Mackay and former guitarist James Williamson and perform Raw Power as "Iggy and the Stooges", with an openness to future projects with this lineup.[17][18] Pop stated that "although 'the Stooges' died with Ron Asheton, there is still 'Iggy and the Stooges'".[19]"
Bonnaroo needs to finally represent some true punk rock... I'll take Iggy on the Farm any way I can get him in a heartbeat...
...though if it was up to me personally, I would book the New York Dolls instead.

Legends. Everything they do is essential, but Fun House is one of the most imporatant albums EVER. Actually, I think they played it at Vegoose in 07. Raw Power would work for me too.
I saw them 2 years ago and they are easily one of the best live bands that I have ever seen. Asheton was still alive then and he was great but it would be a treat to see Williamson and Iggy play Raw Power.

You think correct. One of my biggest regrets is not going to Vegoose that year.
IDK how to feel about it to be honest. You can have Iggy without The Stooges but you cant have The Stooges without Ron. Raw Power was one great record and I'm sure if they were there,I'd go.
