We managed to get an RV last year - reserved in December from Cruise America - and it only ended up costing (with gas and everything) about $1,000. bamabelle found a coupon for 3 free nights when you rent 3 - and with 6 people it was an awesome deal - it was great to have a bathroom and a little air conditioning at times.

We usually fly from DC down to TN, reserving RV's located there. Having trouble finding any dealerships in TN that aren't all booked already. Anyone with any info?
We did Rothbury last year and are gonna do Broo this summer. We were VIP at Rothbury but I am thinking about renting an RV and staying in GA this summer. I figure you get everything important from VIP at a lower price with the RV. How much do they charge to clean out/re-fill the RV? Seems like a better deal to me????

I rented my RV last month. I'm coming from Ontario, and the closest we could get to TN was southern IN. All the RV's in TN were already booked up. So if you're thinking about it, I'd do it sooner than later. Otherwise you'll have to rent one way out and have to pay gas and mileage the entire way.
