I just have to say it, before we get completely absorbed with Bonnaroo 2010. This past year was my personal best ever Bonnaroo and I don't think it will ever be topped.
It was the year everything worked perfectly. The artist lineup was amazing. I had no great artist conflicts(although I did have to bounce from stage to stage a lot. The weather was good. I had a great camping spot( 2 blocks away on main street) with a great group camping with me(yo Sammy, Hoodoo and the Indian crew).
Everything fell into place. Springsteen was great. Phish was a revalation. David Byrne was amazing. I didn't see even a mediocre performance the entire weekend.
I'm with you on this mojo. 2009 was more about my wife & friends having an awesome time than me seeing my dream line up. I saw what I really wanted to see and I was busy all weekend meeting people and just wandering the farm. Heres to hoping 10' is better. I just dont see how.
2009 was my first 'roo, so granted its been my best, but damn was it good. it was filled with the awkwardness of a few personal relationships gone strangely sour, yet, ok in the presence of roo. strange how it all just mellowed out for that weekend, then shit hit the fan again once we got back home

haha I feel that. There were good vibes all weekend untill literally the last 2 hours of the ride home. All in all it was quite an amazing weekend.
