this friday. just noticed this today while browsing jambase, but when i looked for tickets they are going for ~$150 a piece . i find that a little absurd and very disappointing. seeing passion pit and phoenix in one night would be sweet, spoon on top would be even better... but i dont see how anyone could justify paying that much money for a single ticket.
Damn it, you just made me go from "holy nuts yes, why haven't I heard about this" to "that's way more than I paid to see Paul McCartney and he was in the smurfing Beatles".
If tickets were $40 or even $50 I'd be getting out my wallet right now. But $150? Wow. I'd rather just save my money up for a fest this summer instead.

my thoughts exactly... why the hell would i pay 150 for three bands in one night when for not all that much more money, i have access to more bands than i can possibly even see over 4 days....

meh, at this point in their careers none of those bands hold a candle to NIN.
i would rather see phoenix or passion pit than NIN personally, but that doesnt mean i think they have earned the right to charge more for their shows. and its not actually even them whos charging so much, its stub hub. gonna try to find out what the face value of tickets actually is
just called the orpheum and face value is ~$30. more than reasonable, what the fuck is stubhub charging 5x that for? absolutely ridiculous
