And wow, you're like a walking, talking infomercial to turn people away from Pearl Jam and Ohio State, aren't you? Before you started posting here I quite liked Pearl Jam and was indifferent towards OSU, now I find myself wishing that Eddie Vedder falls down a mine shaft or that Columbus is infested with locusts
We brought a shower stall last year, not ozark though, higher quality one from Dicks Sporting...the top poles snapped in the high wind and rain. But then again so did our First Up canopy. haha. So maybe I just have bad luck!!!

Insidejoke bought one for us to bring last year. It was a pop up type which worked well enough. We mainly used it as a bathroom which was nice. We also brought the 5 gallon bucket w a seat attached to the top. I only used the portos in centeroo.
Just don't plan on any of the showers to actually hold the camp shower. It's way too heavy.

I got one last year to go to another fest here in the southeast, but I was very happy with the tent structure. I thought it was sturdy and decent size. We replaced the solar shower that it came with, that thing was a leaky piece of junk. The tent held the new bag really well though. But most bags are going to hang too low to wash anything above the cheast without sitting down. I also saw another that was in K Mart stores that was close in price and was double the size with 2 rooms, one for shower one for changing. Good luck.
Thanks for the help. I am taking my wife to her first Roo. She wants her own toilet so I was hoping that this could provide some privacy. I think I am going to pull the trigger on this.

Just beware, I had one of these setup and pretty much everyone that was walking by and had to piss used it. It gets nasty quickly.
We used it only as a changing stall...for the 4 hours before it broke. haha. Some of my group would have liked to shower but they had to be dirty like me for the whole week. mwauhahaha.

To my knowledge, ours was used once by someone other than us and they cleaned up after themselves.

i have the double room one. it held up great all weekend. my only advice is to bring plenty of water unless you plan on smelling like sulfer all weekend. there was more sulfer in the water this year than last.

We had a great shower and shower tent. The shower itself had a battery pump, so the heavy part holding the water sat on the ground while the hose kind of snaked up the side of the stall. The stall was sturdy and had lots of pockets...but it's weird to be naked in the shower and outside at the same time.
Or you can just do the whore bath: lots of baby wipes, baby powder, deodorant, and a razor for the underarms so you don't get BO (or if you're like me and will shave your legs in the river while camping, just for the sake of being smooth).

The other way to go is a designated potty tent. Just take your oldest leaky/funky tent with you and set up the bucket seat palstic bag arrangement in there. Also a big bag of generic kitty litter can be your friend as well. They are more spacious than a shower tent plus random folk do not wander in to take a quick dump.

We used our Ozark trail in 08 and we had it up during the freaking monsoon. Needless to say it bent the poles so badly it would not stand up on its own. We basically had to hold it up to take a shower. Have to replace it for next year if I am lucky enough to get to go. The water got pretty stanky the last two days. The sulfur smell is pretty pungent in the heat! I think we may rent an suv instead this year of packing up two tiny hondas!
I'm really surprised that everyone had as many problems with this one, was yours staked down? We had some solid Alabama rains at the festie I was at and had no problems.
To the poster above the water just kinda leaks out, and you aren't taking that long of showers at all. Use a rubermaid storage box (low side under the bed style) to pack bathroom/shower stuff and use that to stand in, then you can dump or reuse water to wash feet or however you like.
We had no problems with the Ozark Shower tent. Being complete newbs (and the first time I had ever camped in my life) we double staked everything because I read all the horror stories about tents blowing away! Also used a solar shower and bucket with no issues or random users. The solar shower was heavy to fill up and carry back to camp!
we have used the ozark shower tent before. i only ended up using it myself like twice over the weekend but it was awesome to be able to wash my hair not in the water trough. we didn't get to use it last year, b/c somebody (*sigh*...me) didn't bring all of the parts on the solar shower bag. i def intend to bring it back next summer though.
as a side, note i am completely disgusted that people peed, not to mention took shits in people's tents. wtf is wrong with people?!? sorry but IMO, you are not a responsible adult if you get that messed up and act like that.

OK well I told you bout my Ozark Trail getting bent up in the storm, but not bout the other experience I had with one. Our neighbors at 09 festival were nasty, I mean nasty. They were taking a light inside this think and pooping in the floor on what seemed to be cling wrap. I wasn't trying to look but there was huge silhouette of this person picking it up. Then they figured out a bucket. Well they were still sticking that stupid light on the ground beside them. So they were just doing there business which is ok, but it was dark back away of the main road, and every time you left camp you would have to walk by them. There they were broadcasting there business for everyone to see on the side of an Ozark Trail. Grossed me out all weekend, then those smurfers left there poop bucket behind my car. I was furious. Nasty smurfers of Pod 1: I will be watching for you. I will kick your bucket; just hope you are not on it.

have had the Ozark Trail shower tent the last 2 years and it has worked just fine. We come from south Florida, and spend the night in Atlanta on Tuesday night, so before we leave the hotel we fill up 2 of the shower bags (5 gallon each) and worked for 2 people for the whole fest.
