on our way to the 09 roo we got caught in traffic, a dead stop around 2 am thursday morning, for atleast an hour just over the tenn. state line from virginia, i think it was on 81. anyways yay for house falling off of trucks and onto the highway!!! i just was curious who else was stuck in this.

I was stuck in that traffic. It came to a dead halt for sure, and definitely out of nowhere. After a few minutes everyone started turning their cars off and began mulling about. People were talking, some hackysack here and there, then traffic just picked up, and sure enough there was a crane righting a house.
agreed, yay for letting your house fall off your truck.

the best part was we ran in our corn guy during that traffic jam, he was walking back to his car from the house on the road. the only reason i said out of no where is we got a couple hundred feet past the last exit before the accident and suddenly everyone was stopped. we sat around and talked to truckers mostly... and got some corn.
one of the truckers was pretty cool. "yall goin to that there bonnaroo? oh them white suvs in the middle of the highway wait on yall bonnaroo kids all year long"

I remember this.
My nutjob ex (no Im not bitter) got a great pic of some young bohemian girl hanging off the side of a guys tractor trailer while she was asking him what was going on.
Was a great pic too. Pretty red tractor trailer with lots of chrome, a really old, cool, trucker sitting in the drivers seat and a very young, very leggy hippie standing on the step beside the door and hanging off the mirror bracket as they talked.
