Ahhhh ok I had asked teine the other day and he said it was not him. Like I said kind of a blurry weekend .
Edit
Wait I remember that was during Mule wasn't it.
Im not sure if it was Mule. It is a bit blurry for me as well.
One of the best weekends of my life, and I still forget all the details. How many times have I described myself as sitting with Joel on the hill before Keller, when I know it was you.

Several! But its cool, cause it wasn't long before you were headed down to find some roosters and get close to the stage. At that point, I was in absolutely no shape to walk down that hill. The fun guys were playing with my head hard at that point.

Hey back at ya...out of the blue on the wrong palce...anybody going to the FrenchBroad River Fest...it's my b-day weekend so i am going to spend it there.
Awesome! Thanks for the quick response, i appreciate it. One more question (for now at least)- has anyone ever volunteered at All Good? It's the only way I'm going to be able to go due to money so just wondering if anyone had a volunteer experience and would like to share. I'm getting really excited about this so I hope they accept my application!
I volunteered there in '08. I did pre-fest, and got there just in time to set up my tent in Volunteer Camp and go to work Wednesday morning. I worked in Catering Wed. and Thurs. I was scheduled for 9-9 both days I think, but managed to get off about 2 hours early on Thursday, in time to see the shows that night.
The advantage of working in catering, is you get to eat free while your on duty. I ate three hot meals on Wed. and two Thursday. I ate so much the first day, that I skipped a meal the second day.
I did every job you could do in a kitchen, from setting up stoves and ovens to slicing cheese to washing dishes, other than cooking.
If I make it back, I think I'll work during-fest next time, since there's a good chance I'd be able to see the shows while working my shift up there, no matter what job I have, unless it's gate security.

Did this happen during moe. on top of the hill towards the top rightish? because I swear I saw this one kid fall to ground stay there for a sec, his buddy slapped him a couple times and nothing then about 30 seconds later he snapped out of it it was fucking bananas.

Actually it was in 2008, right after Darkstar Sat night.

There is not much better than waking up to being suffocated by Jess and wanting nothing more than a beer to quench my thirst. It's gone down as one of my favorite festie memories.

i believe i own LRH a brew or two....i ma diggin the adds grace potter is so ho and she makes beutiful music too...keller and the keels i must see again and again and again
Nice latenights, they got them right this year, last year latenights were a little disappointing
I saw yonder at an after party when they played with the biscuits and god damn did they rage it up. Best way I can describe it is regular yonder with a shard of meth up their nostrils fuckin ragin' time.
Any ideas for the other of these latenights? I'm thinking Thurs: Lotus, new deal and garage a trois on thursday (but how are they all latenight) Friday: Bassnectar Saturday: Yonder
It'd be really cool if they had an extra latenight friday or saturday like sneak in The new deal or lotus or bassnectar from 4 - sunrise kinda deal. It'd be fuckin epic.
IT's kinda odd 3 Latenight spots and 5 bands hmmmm Wonder what they got up their slevees. In general though a lot better than last year's latenights. The only one really really good one last year was lotus which kinda set the bar pretty darn high for the rest and none of them topped it in my opinion. I mean darn Zelda and Super Mario covers, are you serious? Gotta love my cracked out elevator music playing lotus buddies
edit: actually looking at the breakfast with keller thing I think that crazy idea of extra latenight from 4 - sunrise might work, they could tie right up with breakfast with keller or whatever, I think that might be yonder's spot, watch the sunrise to some bluegrass and eat breakfast on a great sunday to some more bluegrass. Oh Good I'm getting the chills
What you guys think?

PSYCHED to see Derek and Susan on there, and Dr. Dog. I've got some overlap between this and MJ now- pretty good bands to overlap. If they wanted to add Grace and the boys, it would make my weekend complete.
BOOM, got it right a month ago. So pumped about the addition, and the latenights. This fest is going to raaaaaage

Attention bros and bro-ettes. I need to try and trade my three wakarusa tickets plus main stage camping pass for three All good tickets. I can't make the drive to Arkansas and All Good is way too all good to miss this year. I know that in reality i will be forced to sell my wakas and buy the all good tix but i figured i'd try and ask for an easier trade. If the trade is not completey even, i can give you a foot rub or something. Love you all, Chiefer Sutherland

Since Joe Russo is in FURTHUR and Marco Benevento is now in Garage A Trois,.. do you think we will see a possible Benevento-Russo Duo hidden set somewhere this weekend? Or at least them jamming together in some way? (grassroots stage maybe?)
