Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Dates announced this week July 8-11 2010. I've been putting this festy off the past few years and I'm making it a point to go. It's much closer than 'roo for me and I always seem to enjoy the lineup of years past. Which inforooers are making the trip?
I'll definitely be there again. Probably my favorite festival experience and I didn't even have anywhere near as good a time as I could have last year because I was unemployed, nearly broke and worn out from camping all week. This year I plan not to be passed out during 75% of the bands I want to see.
Definitely considering All Good after roo's disappointing lineup (IMO). Anyone have info on when the lineup will be announced? Website says February...
Well they are having a contest, guess 7 bands on initial lineup, must have entries in by Feb 16th at 11am, so maybe feb 16th? If you are facebook member, be a fan of theirs and you can enter the contest. If you win you get 4 free tickets

all good was fun last year except when some security guard harassed me and vowed to steal my corn and corn related products if he saw me eating corn or partaking in any corn-like behavior again. That dude sucked, it totally caught me off guard during Yonder's first song. He gracefully galloped through the crowd in search for another victim. Don't tell him but I ate more corn 15 seconds later.
^^ I'd have to see it to believe it man, I find it reallllly hard to believe as I've had security people at the main gate look through my "Goodies pouch" and find all sorts of stuff, fungi, tar, random round shaped objects and of course corn. All I got was a pat on the back and a "make sure you do some for me" shout-out. That's about as far as my security encounters go. Shit in 07 I passed a blunt to a guy in a white blazer who I didn't know it was a Preston County Sheriff untill I had already put the blunt in his face, he then proceeded to partake in a quick puff puff pass action *shrug*

Whoa, initial lineup...
FURTHUR Widespread Panic Umphrey's McGee Yonder Mountain String Band Dark Star Orchestra George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic Lotus Femi Kuti & the Positive Force Railroad Earth The New Deal Rebelution Perpetual Groove Cornmeal Fort Knox Five The Macpodz
Considering All Good generally does a fantastic job of filling out the lineup with later additions, this should make for a slammin' final roster.
6/18: Phish in Hartford 6/25: Phish in Camden 7/2-7/4: Nateva 7/17: God Street Wine at Irving Plaza 7/23-7/25: String Cheese at Red Rocks!! 8/17-8/18: Phish at Jones Beach 9/3: Rush at PNC
This Bonnaroo lineup is in dire need of some Rush.

Johnny Cornseed was an American pioneer nurseryman who introduced corn trees to large parts of the east coast. He became an American legend, largely because of his kind and generous ways, his great leadership in conservation, and the symbolic importance of corn.
That lineup- done. Turns out I can't hit up Nateva because of a prior James Taylor commitment, so this and Mountain Jam will quite nicely pick up where Roo and Gathering of the Vibes left off last summer.
