so this summer, my friends and I were supposed to go to Europe, but one of them backed out, so I still have all the money saved. I asked my parents if instead I could road trip to different festivals this summer, and they said yes ;D they would be inbetween mid-June and mid-August and located in the east to midwest. do you guys have any suggestions? So far I'm going to look into (besides roo) Lollapalooza, All Good, and Rothbury. thanks for your help, and sorry if a general information thread on fests already exists, I just got overly excited about this haha
Unless you know someone you can crash with in Chicago, I would skip Lollapalooza. No camping means shelling out bucks on a hotel room that you could be using to put towards another festival.

man if i were u i'd go to all main festivals in the mid west....10klf, wakarusa, bonnaroo, rothbury, all good, camp bisco...that would almost be comparable to a european vacation lol
Yes, Sasquatch!! Just don't go VIP. Biggest waste of money on this earth!! Also, don't camp in GA if you want any sleep at all. Premiere camp is better and offers a shuttle ride to the main venue. I love Roo, but the scenery at Sasquatch is like no other. It's like the price of beer there, it will take your breath away.
