For the sixth consecutive year we're going to create the official free daily newspaper at Bonnaroo. The Bonnaroo Beacon will be available at multiple locations throughout the site on Thursday through Sunday. One feature that will return this year is our Father's Day greetings page. Since Sunday June 17 will be Father's Day, please feel free to send us a message of 30 words or less to salute your dad (or someone else's dad that will appreciate the nod). There's no cost, although space is limited. We'd also like you to include your name and your hometown. We'll do our darndest to run as many as space permits. The toughest part about Roo for me.......I will miss hanging with my dad and son on Father's Day. It's always a great day to chill at the pool, watch the US Open and cook out. Not this year. My Father's Day Gift from my wife.........I get to sleep all day Tuesday to recover!!!!!!!!
I am sending mine too! I hope it makes it in the paper because if it wasn't for my daddy...there would be no bonnaroo for becki. I love my daddy! And the becon is usually everywhere. You can for sure get one at the info tent until they are all gone for the day. I guess you have to be up kinda early..like 7 or so. But I do that anyway to go get ice for the day before the lines are bad...oh and to make a wee right after they clean the port o pots! Its the only time to go! HAHA

Sent mine too. My dad passed away a couple of years ago...we were festival partners in crime for a long time. I took some of his ashes to Beale St Music Fest the year he died. My son is going with me to Roo this year...carrying on the "family tradition"
