my first post about it was in October of his first season as a starter. the next year he came 4th in MVP. Now he might be unanimous. It's safe to say I made a genius call here.
I think you basically made a joke that ended up coming true but congratulations.
not really. Even as a second year player who didn’t start every game his advanced stats were off the charts.
I think he deserves another year at least, it's been an immensely frustrating season but most of that is due to regularly having 5 or so players injured on any given night (not his fault)
Does kinda sting to see how we let Nate McMillan go and he then immediately turned the ship around in Atlanta though lol
We split the back to back with the Warriors. I think Lonzo may have won the Marvel charade had it been on night 2. But that was an odd game. For everything else that we aren’t, we don’t talk shit as a team. Zion gets fouled almost every drive yet only draws obvious calls because the fouls don’t physically move him. However Lonzo, who is one of the quietest players on the team had words with Draymond. And then James Johnson led with a knee toward Draymind’s nuts, and I was okay with it. He only nailed him nearby unlike the kicks Green has issued. So late in the 4th, Green has a monster play and is all flexing in Zion’s face and shit. About two possessions later he tried to jump in front of Zion to get the charge, but he already had passed it, trucked that mfer and got the clear path call. Dick.

"Indiana brass never contacted Phoenix executives for insight on Bjorkgren’s time as a Suns assistant from 2015-17.
Nor did they consult with last year's Orlando Bubble breakout player T.J. Warren—who played under Bjorkgren in Phoenix—according to sources. When news of Bjorkgren's hire became public, Warren requested a trade from the Pacers, according to sources.
It’s believed that Warren even opted for an elective season-ending surgery in March, both to better serve his recovery from a stress fracture in his left foot and also to avoid playing for Bjorkgren for the remainder of this season."
lol yikes, idk that's not a great look, maybe they had to can him
I think I’ve become a Westbrook truther. Still not sure if he’s a winning player but he’s so sick that I dunno if it even really matters. This is also the perfect play to break the record on lmao

having him on my team has been way more fun than expected. at the end of the day they probably should have traded beal and tanked but idk two more years of beal and westbrook is pretty fine for me
stoked about all this melo stuff. I was a big melo on the nuggs fan, and obviously I was jaded by 2019, but happy to see him hitting the marks he's hitting.
best USA Olympic player of all time, top 10 scorer, 1 of many scared away from a fight with KG.

maybe the most better olympic player, don't think he was ever even the best on those teams
"In the U.S. Olympic men’s career record book, ranks first in games played (31), points (336), field goals made (113), field goals attempted (262), rebounds (125), 3-point field goals attempted (139), free throws made (53) and free throws attempted (71); and second in 3-point field goals made (57)."
He also feasted on a Nigeria team that the US obliterated 156-73 for many of the single-game records he holds. He was mostly a guy who took and made a lot of threes. It's an achievement to qualify for four Olympics, no doubt, but a few other players could have elected to do that and simply chose not to.
This was wild but that Nigeria team was abysmal defending in these highlights:
If the Knicks beat the Celtics (75-58 rn) they'll clinch the fourth seed.
If the Wiz lose and the Pacers win (both happening currently), the Pacers will jump the Wiz for the 9th seed and host the lesser play-in game. Otherwise Washington hosts.
Warriors and Grizzlies play in an hour, which will decide which is 8 and which is 9, the 8 having the advantage of only needing one win in the play-in, in a game that will most likely be against the Lakers.
There are a lot of other seeding implications today but those are the main ones as far as early games.
went to wolves/ mavericks game. mavericks were getting bodied, mav's must have been trying to win otherwise their starters would have been benched. good way to go out, haven't seen an ass kicking like that in years
