Oh oh oh. Oh oh oh —————— Pelicans pull off the improbable back to back to back home wins in 3 nights making them the first team since the 1979 Seattle SuperSonics to pull that off. Lots of random haven’t been done since the 60s or Oscar Robinson or Bill Russell shit for us this season. We ended up going 4-1 in that 5 games in 6 days stretch only to probably get another loss to Houston on Saturday. The game tonight was awful. KCP got like 8 3’s, mostly early. There was no defense on either side. I think we had 30 in the paint by 9 minutes 2nd Quarter. And they would have beaten our tired asses had it not been for Lonzo Balls’s (heh) 1-11 night from behind the arc. We were beat the fuck down but Jrue, Rondo and AD saw that shit got handled.
I am truly amazed at how well they've been doing with what they have. That bet with hambone looks better every day.
cant even complain, AD carrying my fantasy team in the playoffs rn.

It's smoke and mirrors along with will. That's pretty much it. I love some of the unheralded guys like Ian Clark and particularly Cheick Diallo who is really starting to come on. Cheick is hustle personified, but he's only 21 and has a long way to go with his development. But he's a good asset for us now.
Time running out for the clips and nuggs. I thought for sure the pelis would fall out after boogie and didn't really expect the jazz to come on like they have. Portland seems like they've got the 3 pretty much locked up. But if the Nuggets could kick the Spurs out that would be much appreciated.
I think LeBron gets his 4th MVP trophy this season. Rockets beat Warriors in the West finals. Cavs over Rockets in the Finals with LeBron MVP of Finals.
And for local flair, Pelicans get the 7 seed and lose first round to Rockets in 5 games. AD and Boogie both finish the season averaging over 25 points and 10 rebounds.
Update on my prediction:
LeBron won't win the MVP, but he will probably still finish in the top 3.
With the Rockets very likely getting home court throughout the playoffs, and with the Warriors being hurt like they are right now, I can still see the Rockets beating the Warriors in the West finals.
The Cavs MIGHT win the East finals, but it'll be over the Raptors in like 6-7 games if they do. I do not think they stand a chance in the Finals. LeBron won't win the MVP because they won't win the trophy.
Pels could finish 3rd. Pels might miss the playoffs altogether. It's still so much in the air. So with that said, maybe the 7 seed is the right answer. But if they do, they'll lose to the Warriors in round one.
But I was right about AD and Boogie both finishing with over 25 and 10 (Boogie with 25.2 and 12.9, and AD currently with 28.2 and 11.1).
I'm really focusing most of my worry on the Spurs and a possible Kawhi return, which I think is understandable as a Rockets fan.
Fuck the Jazz. I will always hate them, from Stockton and especially Malone. I hope we do play them and destroy them. They'd most likely be second-round, though.
We pretty thoroughly worked the Blazers tonight, so that is confidence-inspiring. Score ended up close, but we led comfortably throughout and they're the 3-seed.

lol you won on a buzzer beater and Lillard didn't even play.

Lol we led by 22 at half and the game was literally meaningless.
I will now be worried about a team that has 16 less wins than us, that we beat all four times we played them this year and is also the 3-seed, ie the second-best team we can face in our half of the bracket, because of these facts you have pointed out.
