Yeah we kind of sucked against y’all having no bugs healthy behind JV. Zeller has to get the ankle back and Nance still has the fractured rib goon left him with last time we played y’all. Strategic.
dont worry, paul reed will be sent over when you trade BI to the sixers in the offseason
I don't think we're sending Ingram anywhere. If anything, Zion (who the team is built for but hasn't really taken his job seriously enough) would be the odd player out unless we used some of our up and coming guys to get better star pieces (Murphy, Jones, Daniels). JV may be on an expiring contract, I can't remember. So we might have to find another starting big guy regardless. We can get decent minutes out of Nance. Zeller is a placeholder to go in and bang and get some fouls and boards. But there's got to be someone healthy enough to back up Jonas for us to win.
do we think the nba fines the nets for treating tonight's game vs the bucks like a preaseason game?
They were on the second night of a b2b and barely beat the Pistons who are one of the worst teams of all time last night so I'm not entirely sure what you mean.
they pulled Bridges, Thomas, and O'Neal after the first quarter and only played Sharpe in the 1st and 3rd quarters. only one of their starters played more than 16 minutes. game was competitive through the first half and certainly would have been close til the end if the starters had played even 25 minutes apiece.

It's a bad look for the Nets because they're bad and it demonstrates how bad they are but it doesn't move the needle league-wide. They played their good players in a winnable game that they won and some scrubs in a game they were gonna lose anyway. That's what they should do.
We were talking about it yesterday at the crib. Best we could guess was that the Knicks wanted a stronger top of the roster but I still don’t know if RJ doesn’t have a higher potential career ceiling. ?

I’m less bummed about RJ (he’s been shooting really poorly, lately) than I am about losing Quickley, who’s been nice off the bench and is still on an upward trajectory.
