Good moves the last couple of years to get out of the lottery. But it's been 50+ years since you guys won a title with the likes of Bill Bradley, Walt Frazier, Phil Jackson, Jerry Lucas, Earl the Pearl Monroe and Willis Reed. I think that was a series victory over the Lakers. I need to go back and see who all was on that team.
Wilt Chamberlain, Mel "The Goose" Counts, Leroy Ellis, Gail Goodrich, Pat Riley and Jerry West.
Damn, that series featured a who's who of NBA celebrities. Good luck vs. the Dixers.

Yeah, after years of wandering in the wilderness, I'm just glad we're in the playoffs - you saw how excited I got last year when we managed to win one playoff series. I kind of thought it would take James Dolan dying and someone else owning the team for the Knicks to be any good at all again, so I'm playing with house money, still. I'll give it probably at least a couple more years of good-but-not-championship-caliber before I start grumbling about a failure to raise more banners.
Sixers looked awful until the 4th. gusty win though against a team we knew wanted to make it ugly. Embiid really made an impact in the 4th and Batum stepped up to help in a big way. shame Harris blows but looks like his mins will diminish. no reason to not beat the overrated knicks.
sorry homie, fuck the knicks.
the nova boys are cool and all but this is over in 5

Kind of the same here. I don't really cheer for mediocrity, but when that's all we get, it's something. We haven't been competitive in a second round series since Tyson Chandler ripped his achilles heel (that was Chris Paul, David West, Peja era) when we were up big on the Spurms in Game 7 only to go cold in the 4th Quarter and lose the f'n game. I remember Kobe saying he was glad because we were kind of an unconventional team that season. Such is life for the bottom half.
Sweep that ass. We are only probably getting 1 but it’s good to be back in the playoffs while lmao that the path to the title could be OKC, Nuggets then Twolves. See ya next year.
Lots of shit games today but we were worst culprit despite being the only one of four games that wasn’t a blowout. Multiple wide open shots for the win by 1, 10, 20. Now we will lose a series 4-1 or 4-2 to the weakest #1 in NBA history. Plus all their players and fans are ugly. I have to wear sunglasses to watch them. Die necks
feel pretty good about tying up the series in NY tonight. if the sixers even did a bad job of rebounding we win game 1. sounds like Embiid is fine, thankfully. Praying that Harris is benched but its not likely. i think he will see reduced mins if he doesnt get going early.

It’s a quality game vs the beatdown on the other channel.

Give Kawhi’s Olympic team spot to Josh Hart when he inevitably gets hurt again, Hart’s a maniac and I love him
He sat bench a game after we had to move him and got multiple standing ovations. C who loves basketball used to play video games with him sometimes. You’d get like Josh Hart heads for awards. Plus he’s a giant foodie. Hated we had to move him but as much as I might otherwise hate NYK I can’t. I hope we get him back someday.
