Absolute must win tonight agains the Rockets. Rockets playing for nothing. Cover to cover Rockets win. The Rockets are just better than the Magic at this point. Paolo is lowkey embarrassing in a lot of games, and he cost us big here. We’re 100% heading to the play-in and we absolutely are deserving of that. Will need a couple more years to grow into a truly good team.

non jokic voters are split, no embiid this year to go with. people still pushing shae, giannis, luka, etc. its basically a given jokic wins now, so would be stupid for bookies to give bettors a better number. and of course you don't want jokic to win, every accolade further separating him in this era.
Luka is very good but Mavs got better when they added a ton of front court depth at ASB not just because Luka started carrying them harder, and jokic doesn't have a guy as good as Kyrie next to him

i could care less if jokic wins, never said wasnt worthy to win or even be favored. Theres no way to justify Giannis after how bad of a 2nd half the bucks had. SGA is up there too no doubt. Embiid prob wouldve won had he played 65 games at the rate he was going

my take is that after the toxicity of the mvp debate last season, it’s pretty much been a foregone conclusion that Jokic would win this year if he kept up his usual individual & team production, especially after he won a ring last year and Philly once again failed to make it past the second round
