big seeding matchup tonight with the sixers and magic playing. fully expecting to keep this wining streak going
Hope y'all beat the Tragic. They had our number this year and took out one of our big 2 each game, but fuck them. No way they beat us 4 of 7 should they be lucky enough to meet us in the finals.
Seems the Rockets clinched .500-at-best in devastating fashion to the Jazz.
I don't know what the pre-season o/u was for wins, but y'alll surprised me. Every now and then teams end up cultivating really good young rosters. Think of Golden State, both recent iterations of OKC and certainly 2024 Rockets. I would say Coach Udoka did a really nice job. A couple more pieces (goes for the Spurs as well) and the West is even better and more competitive. I like having divisions and conferences rather than just having a large pool of teams because it gives people something to play for and potentially get rewarded for.
Our O/U wins was 48.5 which I didn't like at all. I was like damn, I could think of reasons they might achieve that number and plenty that we wouldn't. We have had health and injury issues since like the Mashburn-Baron Davis era despite changing out the medical and training staff multiple times. Sometimes shit happens. Well we're at 48 wins with 2 to go (Vegas getting shit right too often). We set our record for Away victories with 27 (could be 28 if we beat the Warriors). Last night's victory relegates the Kings to the Play In Tournament along with the Lakers and Warriors with all teams at 45-35 (Kings, Warriors, Lakers as of now). Suns are the only team that can still catch us at the 6. We are a game ahead with a magic number of 2. Should the Kings defeat them tonight and we win, we will clinch the #6. If we both win or lose, we'll have to beat the Lakers on Sunday to stay 1 game up. If they win and we lose they hold the tiebreaker due to the 2-1 season series.

i think we handle them. they are crumbling while we are surging and Embiid is playing so he should drop 35-40 since they have no one for him
Warriors. Come out to play-ay. Haha. Fuck you. Turned out to be much tougher than it should have been considering we were up 16 in both halves. But eat some 10. Suns blow it and hello playoffs though would prefer the she wolves to the blunder.
Do you want to dance while also thinking about all the ways you've failed as a human?

Legendary. Boban played 4.5 minutes a game in 13 games this year, but started and played the entire fourth. He did this, scored 13 points and 8 rebounds and actually kinda won us the game along with Amen Thompson. Idk if Boban will retire, but I don't really expect him back with us. Great way to go out.

Ideally it would be the Timberwolves, if we get out of the play-in which is in question. But assuming we do, MN would be my first choice, Denver second and then OKC third. I don't think OKC is the best of the 3 - just a weird matchup for us. We probably can't beat y'all in a round 1 series though we likely don't get swept unless someone important goes down.

I’m a Spurs season ticket holder dating back to last season and it’s nice to have hope again. So much, that I forgive Kawhi for leaving because if he didn’t, we wouldn’t have Wemby. I love this kid so much man. He did at least three things a game that I hadn’t seen before. I know we only finished with 21 wins, but goddamn, this was the best 21 win team I’ve ever seen!

should be suspended for this, unironically
Guessing it's his last game and he's not worried about it.
