Well that was AMAZING. Rodrigo bought a Les Paul electric while in town. He played it for the first time last night. Gabriela said the next time they were in town, they were getting another one because she was f'king jealous.
What made it extra special was being with so many infoorosters. Dreaminghtree, I hope you got some good pics of that Les Paul. Jess got Rodrigo's electric performance on video. I expect it up here.
Alex Skolnick trio opened. Dude was in Testament, (thrash metal) and now plays jazz fusion I got to meet them. He bought a new guitar while in town as well.

Yes! Amazing! I loved the more intimate setting of the Ryman for their show. I've seen them before, but they never fail to blow me away.
Gabriela is so cute... the way she says "f'king" made me giggle everytime. The couple sitting next to me had to be in their 70's. I think they were expecting something different. They left early.

It was an amazing show and I loved seeing the pleasure they obviously feel in playing. Rodrigo should seriously have been a heavy metal guitarist though That part was awesome!
I also finally got to meet Wolfman Jess who is a lot of fun to hang out with.
Sadly not one of my photos came out, they were all blurry..... Although by that time I had drank at least 4+ rum and cokes
I am going and my husband actually wants to go!! He rarely comes to shows with me.
