Group of 4 going. Two from central IL, two from Hawaii. The Hawaii folks will be coming up here to visit some family, then we are all hoping in the RV and heading down.
Born and raised across the river from Peoria, (10-20 minutes away)
On the 'Roo-farm is where I sepnt most of my days... Chillin out, jammin, straight actin a'fool, Praying every June that the weather is cool... When a couple of guys, who knew music was good, Started a giant fest in my neighborhood... So I bought a new tent, and a comfy lawn chair, Said im headed out to 'Roo for a week of fresh air.
I found a hippie with some corn, said thank you my dear, and soon all of the music made love to my ears... I couldnt find my tent, but I just didnt care, I found a late-night show by all the smoke in the air.
Finally found my camp about 4 hours later, Got an hour of sleep cuz the sun, he's a hater... Woke up in a sauna, and my cooler was bare, So I woke up my neighbors, cuz I knew they would share.

Oklahoma City! About an 11 hour trip. Most likely going to drive through wednesday night and be there thursday morning. Everytime I take a vacation I can never sleep the first 24 hours or more. lol

I'm from Hoover, Alabama but my mom grew up her entire life in Port Huron and almost her entire side of the family still lives there! Lewis Farms on North Street is where she grew up. I love visiting Port Huron and going on the lake in the summer, seriously beautiful place. Kinda want to move there one day but I'm a southern boy and I don't think I could handle the winters hah!
