Hey me and my gf just bought tixs to bear creek and were pumped! Does anyone know if you can find goodies at it? or is it more of a sober festy because of the cop situation. I was also wondering how many stages there were?

I just got word I'll be working a 15 hour "Warrior Shift" on Thursday, so I'll definitely be setting up camp Wednesday afternoon. I plan to grab some space in the same area Jay and I were for Blackwater, behind the General Store. So let me know if you want me to save you a spot for Camp InfoBear.

I'll be there! Doing VIP for the 1st time this year. I'm a bit confused about the site map they just posted. Which stage is the amphitheater stage with all the trees in the crowd area? Where is the area equivalent to where the main stage was at Wanee? Also, the map makes it seem that VIP camping isn't all that convenient to the stages. Thoughts?

The amphitheater is where it says "Big IV Amphitheater". I believe the main stage at Wanee would be in the area labeled as "The Meadow". I would agree that the VIP camping area shown is in no way convenient to anything.

It's sad to see Inforoo in such decline in the "off-season" but the goddamned season ain't over yet, effers! Bear Fukking Creek!!! (OK, I'll take it to FB while y'all worry about next year's Bonnaroo headliners. Bye losers.)

No Time Rite Time, R U saying you're not gonna be there either? Cause that would PMTFO. Sometimes I think maybe you people just don't care anymore.
EDIT: Scrog, I got you covered. Jess, I'll see what I can come up with to sabotage your relationship. And I think I posted on here that I was having to cancel Harvest and Voodoo, but I should've messaged everyone who was going I guess. Bear Creek will be my 7th fest this year tho, so it's been a good year, and next year wil top them all.

Yo, Dale
Sorry I can't make Bear Creek; I did have tentative plans to attend--several bands I'd like to see--but it's just not in the leaves. I did get The Beautiful Being (wife) to Hemlock Fest last weekend, though. Hmmm... five fests and four shows this past year; not bad for a grey-headed tree hugger!

Just wanted to check in and say I'm jealous of you all. I really wanted to go but I can't take off work, and if I could none of my friends will come anyways. You guys have fun. One of these days I MUST go to a festy at Spirit of the Suwanee.... This is the 3rd in a row I've wanted to go to and missed. I had free tickets to Wanee but no one would go... I had friends going to Black Water but I couldn't get off work...

Sorry, Dale, but they had it on the wrong weekend. Last week or next week would have been perfect. I'll be at the next one, though -- Wanee, I guess, right?

So right now, it looks like Camp InfoBear is me and Scrog. But that's OK, Blackwater was me...and Jay the last night only, and that worked out fine, one of the best weekends at SOTSMP yet.
G f, I need to do Hemlock sometime, heard about it from a friend a year or two ago, but forgot about it, and they apparently don't do a whole lotta promotion. Remind me next year ahead of time. ;-) And you definitely need to get to SOTSMP at some point next year. Wanee or Springfest, MagFest or Bear Creek, any combination of the above will work.
Gena, I'll see you down there. Gotta new phone and I'll text you the number.
NTRT, you better be there for SpringFest and/or Wanee.
laggy, get down there next year for one of the big four, whatever you have to do. :-)
Jess, if you missed it, see my EDIT above your post. ;-)
There are still a couple of others I gotta get contact info from. I have a feeling this is gonna be an EPIC weekend, maybe the best of the seven this will make for me down there. :-D

Oh hell yeah, we'll see you at SpringFest -- didn't know about that one, but the initial lineup looks great. I look forward to swinging in hammocks and swigging some grapejuice wine.
Jealous of all of you who are getting to go to Bear Creek. Last year was awesome!
