COS says sources close to ROO say Rolling Stones will not be there... but im sure thats what sources close to ROO were paid to say...
Why else would the Rolling Stones have the same info tweeted on their page? Its not a re-tweet... they're promoting the rumor.... straaaaannnnnggggeeeeeee......

I don't think the Stones HAVE a Twitter account. If you're looking at what I think you're looking at, it's not an official Twitter at all.
This is all very obviously just a joke...and of course it's definitely not related to this clue (or the clues in general)......but I feel like this thread may be past the point of no return on that matter!

OK, in the Roo clue tradition of making the clue fit the band you like, I'll offer this:
Thurston Moore played with the band Velvet Monkeys. In a group of what would be very warm monkeys, covered in velvet as they were, Thurston would be the warmest if we're using warmest to mean hottest/most popular. His offsrping would of course be Sonic Youth.

I dunno.. something big is coming and if its not bonnaroo has lost a repeat customer...

the big announcement's gonna be the day they will release the lineup. and i think its coming sooner than we expected. we got coachella coming out tomorrow or possibly midnight tonight. if my memory serves me well, bonnaroo's always been released not long after coachella.

that was my first thought as well. thought they would announce the official release date tomorrow. but with these tweets maybe get an announcement of the headliners and when the date for the rest of the line up

Anyway, the way the clue is worded, it sounds like if we do figure out what the warmest monkey means, the next step is "(something) and son" or "(something) junior" or whatever. Not saying that the act we're looking for is along those lines, just that I'm thinking that's the next step.

The Spanish infinitive for read is "leer" and as DJ JD has seemed to speak Spanish fairly well before I'd be amazed if he didn't know the word...so idk if him leaving it out is significant at all.
And I was just going through my posts in here and saw the same thing arejay00 just posted, and had the same thought that maybe that was what DJ JD was referring to.

Okay, I just went through everything I've said and the only things that look remotely likely are my thoughts about an Arctic Monkeys side project, the thing arejay00 posted and another bit of similar thinking, and this:
One thing I keep thinking is that words like "warmest" and "offspring" are probably used in place of the more logical word. That is, if he meant hottest, he'd say warmest to muddle it up a bit. So I keep wondering if the use of "warmest" does mean that he specifically wants "hottest" or some other word. I'm not making much sense here, but warmest already refers to temperature, so if he meant temperature he'd be saying what he meant, and when does DJ JD ever do that?! But if he meant something else, especially something that was better represented by "hottest" or some other word, then him saying warmest instead would seem to make a lot of sense.
And honestly, that entire paragraph was so ridiculous that even I barely understood what I was saying, haha.
