we should all look around on the board as time gets nearer and adopt a wookie for a day at bonnaroo we can teach them proper etiquette help them learn about the recycling bins how to wait till night to party so they dont pass out during the day from heatstroke we should have strict criteria like no leaving wooks tied to the fountain and letting them drink the water and how to properly bathe with wet wipes etc.....

how about wookies adopting first timers, showing them the real way to do a festival. Show them how to ingest more contraband than theyve even seen pre-fest while setting up the tent, and by the end of the festival they wont be headed home but onto the next fest or lot to do it all over again.
I grew up worshipping Rock and Roll like a religion. I know its shortcomings and strengths but have loved it unconditionally all the same since I was eight-years old. I ran away and joined the circus and honestly, I'm still as obsessed as I was as a boy. I'm not a kid anymore but I still remember how it felt and it doesn't really feel all that different to me now.
thats some funny shit but i am afraid that it would lead to some more "Have you seen Ian?" posts like last year it was not that bad on here but it was all over the main bonnaroo site. I have till this day wondered what was up with that kid he could not find a phone for like 2 weeks? I bet that was a strange ass story it was his mom and shit looking for him and he was over 18 and suppossedly picking up trash with the clean vibes if I remember correct. I wish someone knew hime so we could get the real story though I am sure it would not be something we could post on here it would involve corn poisoning, gypsies, and some all around weird shit. I wonder how many freaked out people are found wandering the farm on monday after roo. I bet they have a psychiatrist to on standby on mondays after roo

Well I for one am certainly adopting a wookie this year. Last year I had a chance to and I gave the poor creature the cold shoulder instead of offering him a place to crash and a "cracked cooler". I'll never forgive myself for that so I'm taking a spare air mattress and blanket and some extra food n beer. Then I'm gonna tie him to my flagpole and fly a pirate flag. Just wait til the wooks come to steal it and find that I have a guardwook.

It's difficult to tell when someone is in real need of something and when they are just asking for free shit. But this year, I think I'll be a little more giving.

I often adopt wookies as I bring extra gears, shade and food and am happy to share. Seems I run into a couple of old wook "friends" every year who recognize me and/or my flag and stop by to say "hi". (and no they usually don't stop by to mooch more stuff.)
In my experience, most wooks are pretty cool. And the ones that aren't you can spot right away.
