I grew up worshipping Rock and Roll like a religion. I know its shortcomings and strengths but have loved it unconditionally all the same since I was eight-years old. I ran away and joined the circus and honestly, I'm still as obsessed as I was as a boy. I'm not a kid anymore but I still remember how it felt and it doesn't really feel all that different to me now.

Depending on the cost, I would totally do this. I hate camping and even though us 3 girls managed to put up our site last year, it was a pain and I hated it.
I think the tent rental may be good for folks who fly in and don't want to buy new gear.
As for glowsticks, I think the ones they are referring to are the thick, heavy ones. I start buying the packs from the dollar store around March and wind up with hundreds. They're thinner and make bracelets/necklaces, etc.
And as someone who will be staying in access camping for the third year woo hoo, best camping ever!

They will take your glow sticks if they catch you bringing them in, no matter the size. Heard stories of people having one or two on their wrist and had to take them off. There are several peeps on this board who always manage to sneak in thousands.
Glasto tents look amazing. Roth's teepees are crazy too. It'll be interesting to see the sizes and prices.

I was disappointed that they took good vibes or a positive attitude or whatever it was off the What to Bring list. It was such a happy thing to read in the middle of a very practical list.

I just hope they don't cut down on tent only space for these tent rentals.
edit: Just read this under "Bathrooms":
The bathrooms located in the General Campgrounds (non VIP campground area) are the traditional port-a-let units, with hand sanitizer units and seat covers in each. There are also hand washing units in each bathroom area – please use them!
Wow, if this is true and they can keep sanitizer stocked, this will be awesome!

I see nothing about grills this year as well. They were allowed (small charcoal grills) last year and I had thought about bringing one this year for breakfasts during the stay.

Bunny, we'll have to pitch one of those mega Glastonbury tents in Access for 2011 for Camp Custy. You bring the champagne.
I think its a great idea to tents onsite for people who fly in! hopefull they didn't have to cut into an other area or stick them in BFE. I wonder if they give you a little extra room for a decent size shade tent to set up next to your tent. If not, that would suck.
