I understand the reasoning behind wanting to get as many people in a run-off as possible but there is a an awesome possibility that jen and wolf are both mafia. Jen has been pretty quick to assume that wolf is innocent and wolf has been quite vocal in rallying more people in a run-off. But who knows......???? I voted for Jen since she hadn't voted yet and as a bday present. I also didn't want to single anyone out, I figured she would vote for me in playful retaliation. My vote stays to see what happens.

If by "awesome" you mean very unlikely due to the small odds of us being paired as mafia THREE times in a row...then yeah there is an awesome possiblilty! Awesome, yes....likely or true, no. Will killing us (especially me b/c I know am 100% innocent) help the Mafia? YES.
A vote for me would be playing right into the mafia's hands and from where I'm standing Chief looks like a pretty good suspect. If I get killed I wish the townspeople luck because you will be off to a dismal start.

I actually am more suspicious of Chief than I am of Jen.. I know that does no good now-- But Jen already had vote from me when Chief voted for her. He said he didn't want to single anyone out, but he singled her out by giving her two votes.
Tomorrow at noon eastern time, I will carry peoples votes over and end the day! I will take their previous day votes, if they voted for someone in the runoff!
Just out of curiosity, Wolf, I'd like to share with you my thought process on you as I was compiling that vote tally...
You voted for one of the people in this run-off. You returned to the thread and posted, but... You did not repeat that vote. You didn't vote at all.
Some people might find that suspicious... like you're awaiting correspondence before you actually vote.
Just sayin'.
Wolf >>> kdogg
Is that good enough for you? I'm on the record for thinking you and higgi are suspicious. Of course I'm going to vote for you. I just want make sure I save myself and vote for the person that will get me through to day 2.
I'm still wondering why you just went over higgi. You never responded to that.

ok folks, well...i'm kind of at a loss in this runoff. i don't feel like there's really any damning evidence against any of them, so for now my vote goes to wolf just so it's even.
It's not like I'm kdogg here. I've been quieter when I've been mafia than when I've been a tp. Kdogg's post put him on my watchlist along with higgi. I find it interesting that kdogg went right over higgi to me when higgi voted for someone already with a vote.
Does anyone else have any thoughts on this besides NTRT?

i can totally see your point on this. last game when kdogg was mafia, he also seemed to talk around the questions regarding why he thought one thing was suspicious and not another.
for now i'm keeping my vote as is since it's tied, but depending on what other info comes out, and how the voting goes, i'm not opposed to changing it.
I didn't think about it until you said this, but that does sound a little bit like what he did last game when he got caught protecting you.
Don't be saying this is the same situation as last game, because to do so would be wrong. For one, there's two instances of this suspect voting behavior. For two, where's the vote change (like last time) if you think I'm protecting someone? I'm sorry, but you're barking up the wrong tree if you think I'm Mafia.
Like I said, I didn't even think about that until wolf brought it up. I was extremely busy all day for a change, and didn't have a chance to take notes on this thread or look at the last thread to until just now. What you're saying makes sense, kdogg, because now that I've had a chance to look, that really doesn't seem like the exact same situation as last game.
At this point, I don't have a lot of reason to suspect anybody, so I think I'm just going to stick with Wolf. Even if Wolf's vote for me at the beginning was a joke, it's still just about the most suspicious thing I've seen (even though it's not really all that suspicious, I don't think).

What exactly are you saying when I "went over Higgi?" Are you implying I'm trying to protect him or something? Not to mention that I DID SO address your point, in a post dated yesterday at 3:47pm - you had already accused me and changed your vote a half hour before I even got here to respond. I addressed not only your original point, but NTRT's expanding on it. So I think I was addressing two critics there instead of one, and quack you for saying I let it slide when I know I didn't.
I pointed out this suspicious voting behavior in the two places I saw it, and I called out both situations that I had seen.
also, i am a bit suspicious of bama for her vote for the same reason(if you'll remember last round, wolf did the same thing, and sure enough...MAFIA!). however, this is her first game in a while, so i'm willing to cute her some slack.
Wolf did kinda the same thing this time around, except this time he says it's for "funsies."
So if it's happening once out there, it's happening twice...
Thanks for pointing out that there is indeed a third instance of someone preemptively voting for someone who should have a reciprocal vote coming from them. I think my posts in this thread should show you I'm not averse to calling out that behavior; I just missed one until you pointed it out.
Might I ask, Wolf, why it's bad when Higgi does it... but it's "funsies" when you do it?

In this post you(kdogg) brought my vote up as suspicious. Yet Higgi voted for someone who already had a vote. What have I done that is suspicious but talking, and talking mostly about how the game should be played in the abstract, and bringing up you and higgi's name?
Hippie pointed it out in Bama's voting, and your vote for her last round. I then said your vote this time reminds me of your vote last time around.
Higgi didn't do any of that kind of voting last game. If he had done something like that and Hippie mentioned it, I'd have called out a similarity seen in this game too.
I guess I didn't follow through enough to drop everything and go double-check everyone's vote tally right at that very moment before I wrote that response... is that really your grounds for you thinking I'm in cahoots and protecting people? Sorry, but you'd be wrong on that.
