I think I'm solo again, unless one of my friends comes around at the last minute. I'm kinda psyched about it actually! And I know I'll see tons of yinz guys when I'm down there...so 'solo' never means alone..

Going to my 3rd Roo, my 2nd with my husband. Also bringing our friends who will be making their 1st trip to the farm. In a RV - YAY! And my neighbors will be katbur2 & Mr. Katbur2, sang_xcx & Mrs. Sang, crazykittensmile, & Siggy!!! Hurry up June!
Well from the few posts I actually remember from the aforesaid mentionables , you guys are going to have one upbeat, nice, and fun camp. Enjoy for sure ......
We're all a mess of paradoxes. Believing in things we know can't be true. We walk around carrying feelings too complicated and contradictory to express. But when it all becomes too big, and words aren't enough to help get it all out, there's always music.
I am going to Roo with a lovely newlywed Canadian couple I found on Zimride. They want to honeymoon in tent only, so we're working on making that happen, as I am camping at my car. My usual Roo-mate will not be in attendance this year, except in my heart and mind. <3

still not sure at this point was going to go with a group of people who have gone every year since i was in highschool but they all have car fulls. i did meet a really cool girl at the bar last night who offered me a ride

We would love that! I'm not sure if this is the appropriate place to say this, but as a roonoob this site really has been helpful with giving me the knowledge of how to prepare and all that. I'm glad I found it!
My bestest mate in the world Nick who just got out of the army (after 4 years with 2 of those years in afghanstan) So it'll be a good reunion. Also with a very good friend, Doug who is moving to Germany immediately following Roo so its a going away party. I couldn't have asked for a better group to go with. Hopefully I'll meet up with some of you fine sexy people to make it that much better!
You're just too young to grasp how stylin' I really was. All the boys wanted to do me when I was 5. Actually the girls did too. My haircut was confusing.

My boyfriend and I are going for the first time. It'll be his first fest and first Bonnaroo for both of us. I'm so excited I can't stop looking up everything and anything related to Bonnaroo. I don't know if I'm going to make it to June.

I'm bringing my mom this year. I never thought I would say that! I'm over the moon about it!
When she found out I was going alone this year she asked to come along. She was worried people her age (53) didn't go. I assured her this isn't the case.
She has never been to anything like this before. She's a really fun loving and genuinely nice person and I think she's gonna have a blast.
She's nervous but very excited and has been getting her bonnaroo gear together. I purchased VIP tickets so she has a shorter walk to the venue. Even got her her own camelbak. She wants to decorate at camp, have costumes, and informed me glowsticks are a must. She sounds ready to me.
So for the 8 'roos I've been to I've shown up solo, but honestly once you're on the farm no one is really solo. This year I've finally been able to drag my friend Scott. Scott was with me Woodstock 94 which was my first festival and we've done VT Reggae Fests, HORDE and a bunch of other stuff, but never Bonnaroo. Totally cool dude in the totally cool dude mold, come by Camp Inforoo and say hi to Scott!
