Anyone thinking about going this year? last year was AMAZING i had such a great time on such a beautiful venue! it's this place called the waterbowl in muncie, indiana...privately owned and not a single bit of law enforcement was there, it was actually full out lawless lol. other than that tho the lineup consisted of...kyle hollingsworth, cornmeal, pnuma trio, papadosio, future rock, ultraviolet hippopotamous and about 30-40 other acts. saw some great shows and met some great people...i have no doubt in my mind that wuhnurth 2010 is going to be no different...anyone else attend or hear of this festival?

I've seen them several times. In fact, I am seeing them again for the third time in 8 months this weekend. Those guys and gal tour constantly. Thankfully, they love Bloomington.

EP3 announced at a show in Avon, Indiana last night that they were playing Wuhnurth 2010...if you haven't heard EP3 check them out, they are a great up and coming jamtronica band from Atlanta, Georgia....www.myspace.com/ep3band
I wouldn't count on Wuhnurth necessarily being held at the Water Bowl again this year. I went to Muncie Springfest (same location) last weekend and the owner got pissed about something and actually shut down the festival a day early. Not cool. Cops were called in, but as far as I could tell they didn't do anything. It was a pretty cool location, and yeah it was fairly lawless, but somehow I doubt they are going to be having more festivals there. I guess time will tell.

i talked to a couple people that run springfest and they said the organizers of the festival made the decision to shut the festival down sunday because the owners of the venue were wanting more money than what was contracted, greedy people ruin good times...but, yes chances are Wuhnurth will be moved to a different location this year and not deal with the greed....2 confirmed bands on myspaces for wuhnurth so far tho...EP3 and UV Hippo!

maybe if they work the kinks out with the waterbowl the festival will stay there, but a lot of people posted comments on facebook saying they will never attend another event at the waterbowl because of the owners of the venue being so greedy and not friendly at springfest...i think wuhnurth organizers will move it somewhere in muncie or close by if they do decide moving it will be best for the fans and the festival...we'll all find out soon, hopefully with an initial lineup announcement!

Cornmeal is in as well as the headliner. $30 early bird tickets on sale now. That's a freaking steal. I'm pawning the kid off to his mom and I'm heading to Spencer. Best part is that I can drive home if I forget anything.
Here's the top of the bill Cornmeal (amazing jamgrass), Papadosio (experimental jamband, gonna open for tDB), the Ragbirds world music), UV Hippo, the werks, Digital Tape Machine, cosmic railroad, dead winter carpenters, EP3, Jaik Willis, the Malah, Andreas Kapsalis and Goran Ivanovic duo (amazing), Catch Curtis, Remington Pettygrove, Alanna Fugate.
I've seen Cornmeal 5-6 times and they never disappoint. I listened to Papadosio and UV Hippo at Springfest and they were damn impressive. I saw the Ragbirds at a pizza place this year and was impressed. I saw Andreas and Goran in a converted church a few months back and they are amazing as well. $30 to see anyone of these bands would be worth it to me.
