As long as it's cans, I think you can bring as much as you want. Just no glass. I might be wrong, but I don't think there's a limit on how much you can bring. We had about 6 cases for 4 of us. Nobody ever mentioned anything going in. They were mainly looking for glass.
Last year I don't recall an official limit. I believe in '07 and '08 it said three cases of beer and two 750ml bottles of liquor a person in the information pamphlet thing that came with the tickets. Correct me if I'm wrong please.
At the same time one of our neighbors last year lost a ton of Jell-O shots to 'Roo security. If you bring so much that it looks like you're there to definitely make money I imagine they begin confiscating.
I always bring in about 2 cases for myself. All they look for is glass, if you have glass they will pour it all out As far as centeroo goes (where the concerts are) you cant bring in any beer, you have to sneak it in. Plus if a ROO Crew member sees you drinking your own beer inside Centeroo they will come and take all your beer, kinda jacked up.

They don't pour it out. They keep it and party with it later. It's their reward for finding glass... that's how they motivate them
I was told last year as they were checking my coolers that you can only have two cases per person. It was my first Roo and I wasn't aware but luckily we only brought two cases so we were all good.

Last year, we were only questioned about the liquor my friend was bringing in. For that, it's two handles per person, period. We had to give a few bottles to our friends behind us to bring in...

I don't think they really care, just keep the glass to a minimum if you have to bring any at all. Last year a friend of mine had some glass bottles but they just "overlooked" it and sent us on through.

coming in from the west side of camp last year, car was stacked with 200+ cans of beer, just 3 people, didn't say a thing. they're more worried about other things... like no no word and glass.

Depends on who searches you. They might they might not? Last year they were searching a RV next to us and they had several cases of beer and they said there was a two case per person limit. They took the extra and threw it in the trash. Hopefully no one runs into that again!
