Whoa folks. This lineup is stacked. Stevie Wonder kind of makes me scratch my head but everything else seems legit. Can't wait to see you guys on the farm!

I actually enjoy the lineup very much. Yes it can always be better, but the lineup this year is solid. Would have liked to see another jam band or two on the lineup, but there is definitely enough there for me to have a great time.

even though i'm not a huge fan of any of the headliners the undercard wins it for me this year. my only worry is that there will be a lot of conflicts for me. although i wish nothing but success for bonnaroo, the possibility of a 2008 sized crowd is also a plus.

it amazes me how people are most put off by Stevie Wonder being a headliner. like what?! Kings of leon doesnt phase you, but you are concerned about Stevie Wonder?

it amazes me that so many people are put off by one or two artists. i'm not a metallica fan. never really was. when they were coming to bonnaroo did I spend most of my time complaining about them? nah. I did talk about bands I was excited about and pretty much ignored the few bands I didn't care for.
I saw the Metallica show. They put on a great headlining spot. But did I spend 3 months before Bonnaroo worrying about them? nah.

You sir are my opposite. Stevie wonder is the biggest thing making me go to roo, not that there aren't other good bands. But he is the best headliner by far. Just curious, why no love for stevie?

I'll have to admit I was put off by the lack of a really great headliner (Stevie just don't do it for me & DMB belongs lower on the totem pole & Kings of Leon? WTF?) but the rest of the lineup is AMAZING. I mean I can only see about 15 shows max in the 4 days and it took me going over that lineup one time to pick 15 shows I can't miss. So I say a big thumbs up on the lineup. It may be the best Bonnaroo yet!

I think this line-up suits me to a T! Last year was Roo #1 and I only went because my 16 year olds wanted to go. This year there are more bands that appeal to me and I am stoked! I like KoL no matter what the general opinion is, I love Stevie Wonder, DropKick Murphys!!! Really?? AWESOME
I really do love this lineup. I don't get many opportunities to attend festivals/concerts so for me to get a chance to see Jay Z, Stevie Wonder, Weezer, Tenacious D, Nas and Damien Marley and Flips is f'n amazing. I know a few of the under card acts, but plan on downloading a few songs from each of them this weekend so I can see what tickles my fancy.
I think people that are complaining about the lineup (which they have every right to do if that is there opinion) are maybe those that go to different festivals and see a lot of the artist on a somewhat regular bases, so nothing on Bonnaroo's lineup really stands out. But like I said, anything that brings Stevie F'n Wonder,Jay Z and The D to Tennessee is ok in my book.

The Police and Tool played in 2007.
If you morons honestly believe Kings of Leon and DMB beat Tool and The Police then I've lost faith in humanity.
Then again, most of you idiots are the kind of people who like to blast Dave Matthews song out of your range rover while parked outside of your local outdoor apparel store.
i seriously could not be more pleased with the lineup. and someone is going to mock that. because they think their taste in music is better than mine. which is really, really stupid.
no one's taste is better than anyone else's. taste is subjective. be nicer. just because you dont like the lineup doesnt me no one else is allowed to.

Taste is subjective to a point, but I'm going to assume that most of the people here don't enjoy Nickelback or Creed. There are some bad bands no matter which way you cut it.
But I think the people that are critical of the lineup are not attacking it on those grounds. It's more of a let down than anything. The top two headliners are about as over exposed as can be, while other rarer acts seemed to be looked over. If anything we're criticizing how safe this lineup is, and whether it's really going to be worth traveling for. There are some special acts sure, Stevie Wonder at the top and a possible late night Jay-Z show are some examples, but many of the other acts don't really stack up to past Bonnaroo's or current Coachella or Sasquatch.

Stevie wonder> The Police
pretty much any band > Tool
and I'll blas any DMB song... but i don't own a land rover and what's an outdoor apparal store? like mc sports? wtf does that even mean?
