ok i guess i need to start the first annual parade from the general store to inforoo brunch thread??? i really feel we need to do something to help people find it and i dont mind heading it up next year as long as i can find it myself

Well, I missed the brunch, but not for lack of trying..... Walked around for 1.5 hours lugging a green wagon w/ 20lbs. of fruit in it. Couldn't find it.... Maybe next time!! Damn, I was so looking forward to meeting you all!
^That or we could get a huge balloon and 150 feet of lightweight fishing line.
This would be a good idea. I knew what the flags looked like (obviously), and it still took me about 15 minutes wandering around Tent Only to find the camp.

So I am not sure if this is the right place to do this, but can next year's Brunch be dedicated to CarpeDM? Everyone gets a cigar (it can be a candy one) for showing up...I am so glad I got to meet him at Brunch. Matt gave me two cookies. I wanna do something now but also in years to come to honor his spirit at Bonnaroo and I thought the Brunch would be the place...

I was actually thinking it might be nice to do a late night/early morning wake next year.
I gave his Mom 3 pictures that Leah and Andrea took of Matt at the brunch when I met her this afternoon. She was very appreciative. She said Matt looked forward to it so much each year. So this is an excellent idea. In fact......it is pondo approved.
I'm tempted to suggest lighting up some sky lanterns for him... I feel like it's a nice little quiet time ceremonial sorta thing. say some good words, light some sky lanterns, and have a moment of silence. even more meaning now that he was stoked for DMB and they had an amazing sky lantern release. *shrugs*

I had a great time at the brunch and it was nice to finally put some faces to the names! I know I don't post a lot, but I've been here since June 07. I'll admit I spend more time here with you guys than I probably should... but how else an I supposed to get my Roo fix throughout the year?
Had a great time meeting everyone! Ziggy, NoD, LawnGnome, Vector Viking, Roofan, Fishingmaniac... it was great to meet you all! To my other Inforoo friends, it was great to see you all!

I haven't had internet...grrr....so now I'm back to work and cheating on inforoo..hehe! Anyway - it was wonderfully amazing to meet all of you, and I still haven't stopped crying about Matt...so very sad. I already plan on making special cookies in his honor next year. We should have the entire thing for him in memorial. We all got to be with him a last time, and think of the music he gets to be around now, in peace.
P.S. - I'm happy y'all enjoyed the Rooty Rainbow Pebble Smileys!!! Just so y'all know they were from me AND MIKE D!!! It was seriously half his idea! He was just the shy guy with the milk to the side...lol! Thank you everyone - the brunch was the best! One of my favorite Roo moments for sure!
I LOVE YOU ALL!!! We are quite a Roo family I must say!
Brunch was awesome, now I just have to try to remember everyones real name and face. The milk was clutch, made those treats so much better. Thanks MMJJ for putting in the work and hastle of transporting those excellent treats. Now since you are cheating on your internet at work you need to get back in the arcade, lol its pretty lonely in there now.
Whoever is in charge of the camp inforoo flags - What would it take/would it be appropriate to add a flag with one of Matt's pictures on it?
