It was so great to see you all at brunch! And to meet a few people I hadn't met yet. I love you all to pieces. I think I did a liiiittle bit better at not being shy this year! I feel like I did just a BIT less hiding on the edges and a bit more talking to people. And I am simultaneously amused, flattered, and a little weirded out by the people who got all "oh man I didn't realize who I was talking to!" when they saw my name tag. Oh, and I am very amused by whoever it was who told me they pictured me as being really tall! That is the opposite of correct, people.
I'm sad that there are still people who tried to come party with us and couldn't find us! I've said it before and I'll say it again, but next year if anybody has that problem, text me (or dm me on twitter). I will happily get on the phone with you, stand in the middle of the road, and jump up and down waving the one hand that isn't holding the phone until you find me. I am not remotely kidding about that. ;D
And yes, we definitely need to do something for Matt at next year's brunch.

The brunch was fantastic! And I wasn't even a inforooster then. I was wearing the YMSB shirt and visor. I followed my sister (mayonnaise) around like a lost puppy most of the time, but I met plenty of great people though. Thanks for making me feel at home.
I gotta say the smiley face, fruity pebble, marshmallow treats were "scrumptulescent". The one I had provided me a sugar boost that lasted throughout the day.
I don't know if it's my place to say this being my first post. I met Matt at the brunch, and in the brief moment that I knew him he welcomed me into the fold cheerily and immediately offered me a cookie. It was obvious at that point that he was a great guy and obvious now that many people loved him. He definitely needs to be celebrated next year.
Remember to love MikeD as well - they were half from him! I know he's the shy dude with the milk, but the fruity pebbles part as an ingredient was his idea! I loved sharing those! Crazy good for you from MikeD & I!
haha - and did you lose the lighter dude...hehe! You are awesomely funny dude!
Nope, I still got it!! The little blue bic with the bottom painted red and the sideways warning label...
You're my guardian angel, remember!!!???
How can I forget! It was awesome to be your guardian angel dude! We def need to hang out more next year! No one can steal your lighter with the bottom painted!
Well, I spent almost an hour walking from pod 6 to try to find the brunch and had no luck. I brought 2 big bag of Wisconsin's best cheese curds to party with and ended up just giving them away to random people waiting in line into centeroo. I gave JB Smoove one when he was interviewing me for something Wheat Thin related. I'm actually really bummed about not making it because I skipped out in 08 and didn't go in 09. I did recognize Pondo so I went up to him for a chat and met monkeyjoy X2 in the process. We hugged, nice cushioning *wink

I cant believe so many people couldn't find us. The flag was so easily visible! My wife found it in the dark...We gotta do something about that next year, for real!!

Btw: where the heck are all the pictures????
I've been to the brunch twice before and I could not find you guys. I had to call Julie to come and find us..... I think you guys were just a little further in from the road this time.
I was having so much fun, I totally forgot to take photos
well for sure next year we will do a parade from the general store. i also wonder if we could tell the information booth nearest to us where we are ...maybe the would direct people there as well. if we know we are nearest to the same pod area each year then we might be able to leave a note up at the info booth.

Not all due to me. I had to ask Wolfman Jess where Camp Inforoo was located! We camped in tent-only also, and were set up by 1:00pm on Thursday. But as of Thursday afternoon, we still couldn't find the Inforoo flags. (Maybe they were put up later?)

They were up just not visible from the road. Maybe a big balloon next year. Glad you could understand my drunken directiopns about looking right when you see the Mylar fish.

They were absolutely not visible from the road. You had to kind of wander around Tent Only for a few minutes to see it. A previously-indicated landmark (like a Mylar fish) would do wonders for wayfinding.

They were visible, but only from a limited location, i.e. within 15 feet of the fish. Unless we get something higher in the air though it is going to be hard next year.
Or if we could get a larger camp inforoo together it might be easier as well.

I had no trouble spotting the flags from the road to Shakedown, but I knew to look near the end of Tent Only.Tried to find them Thursday, but I guess they had yet to be hoisted.
I should have got someone's number off here, the only info number I have are Kelaroo and Beatle___ (Steph's) and neither were there so they wouldn't have been any help. I also asked every cart driver that passed thinking maybe a member would have hopped on one to catch a ride over to the brunch but no luck with that either.
