You might be surprised kdogg. I wrote my AP American Literature Paper on Rivers Cuomo and have read a few autobiographies on him and weezer. However due to my limited knowledge of putting up youtubes and the like I will concede the Weez to kdogg since I know he will do a first rate job.
-When I Hear My Name -Dead Leaves and the Dirty Ground -Blue Orchid -Passive Manipulation -Red Rain -Death Letter -My Doorbell -Hotel Yorba -Same Boy You've Always Known -Lovesick -Little Ghost -We're Going to Be Friends -The Hardest Button to Button -Black Math -The Nurse -I Just Don't Know What to Do With Myself
Encore: -Ball and Biscuit -Seven Nation Army -Screwdriver
hey Weezer guy...please mention that Maladroit is a really underrated rock record. IMO, their last hurrah.
"Hey weezer" makes me feel like this is high school all over again... I think more upperclassmen knew me as "weezer" than knew my actual name Perhaps "jump the shark" is a better term than "last hurrah?"

What kind of American Lit class did you have? Mine had trouble keeping me awake, let alone allowing me to write anything fun like that. What was the specific assignment?
Hey now... Rivers has written relevant songs within the past decade. He just, for whatever reason, scraps the the better stuff and releases crap.
Example: Weezer's summer 2000 comeback tour featured a whole batch of new songs, all of which were scrapped - with the exception of Hash Pipe - in favor of what became 2001's Green Album. (Nor was it the first time he scrapped a near-album in the works - Pinkerton should be regarded as the phoenix risen from Songs From the Black Hole's ashes...)
Rivers is quite the profligate songwriter. I do believe that he has enough unreleased home recordings to be more prolific in death than even Tupac.

This was an AP class in high school mind you. College Credit, but not college class.
Something akin to "Any American who changed the country's way of life during his/her lifetime.
edit: and in british lit I wrote my paper about John Lennon.
