Buddy of mine is lost in the OC's.. not much I can do for the dude, it's his brain.. it's his life. I'll be sad if it takes him one day but as anyone whose been in that situation you know, ain't shit you can do when someone has their mind set on something.
What am I gonna do? Cut off his nose? or his hands? Beat his ass? put him in rehab? he's not my kid man.. Darwin baby.. some people just aren't fit to be.

I've been lurking around for a long time here and this is by far the worst thread I have seen. So bad in fact it inspired me to speak up. This dude sucks so bad... I mean first off there's nothing worse than a drunk preaching moderation. Secondly, I don't like people telling me what to do, I can take care of myself. Thirdly, people kill themselves everyday doing stupid shit, a helluva lot more than two people (no. of deaths last year). So, the fact that only 2 out of 80,000 died speaks greatly for the masses of other people. Bonnaroo is a four day party, you stop when you stop and drop where you drop.
there are plenty of kids who come to Bonnaroo who abuse themesleves.....kids have died at a few Roos' I don't give a sh%T IF i GET 1000 -KARMAS go ahead and - karma me......I'm angry that no one has the balls to talk about this very important issue. or pretend like it doesn't exist......it is real and we should encourage some kids who loose their head not to over do it and wind up dead. ok, now my rant is over, i spoke my mind....and if you hate this post, you'll thank me later that someone told you so, when you're head is spinning and you're barfing up your guts from going overboard..........you can only have the best time with just enough.......party, but don't party till you drop....that's just stupid!
Where were you when I was 15 and I was barfing up my guts in the hallway of my friend's apartment from going overboard?

Okay, this is just random question on this subject.. a friend of mine told me that when she went to roo last year, some jerk groped her during a show, and continually harrassed her through the performance. Does anyone know the policies about sexual harrassment at Roo?

I've never heard of anything like that happening but, If you experience anything like that, just find security. They will take care of it. Or better yet, just scream "This assh*le keeps groping me!". Someone nearby will put a stop to it!
The VAST majority or Rooers are some of the most laid-back and respectful peope that you will ever meet. We look out for each other!

haha awesome! such sweet hearts you all are! But, continuing on the cycle of stupid stuff, I really hope everyone stays safe at roo and just has an AWESOME time! Doing stupid stuff besides jamming out to Tool and Ben Harper is a buzz kill, ha. ;D
Posting someting on here is not going to stop or deter people from drinking or doing drugs. And back in the day I used to run rescue, some peole's bodies react differently to different substances. I remember this one kid almost dieing from his first time smoking pot. He was allergic to it and his throat swelled shut. He didn't know.
But I do agree that when you get drunk and start popping several different pills, well your just plain stupid.
