So I'm a roo-rookie bringing up an RV, and I'm trying to make sure I don't wind up with a 30 minute walk to Centeroo. I've heard there are a handful of things one can do to improve the spot they end up with. So far I've gathered that I want to get there sometime between 7-11 a.m. on thursday, and that I want to avoid coming up one of the streets(can't remember if it was Bushy Branch or another street). Any and all advice will be greatly appreciated and welcomed with mad karma if you can help me with any of the following questions.
1.)If there was a "perfect time" to get there and get in line, what would it be?
2.)Coming in on I-24 from Nashville, what exit do I want to take? To avoid Bushy Branch do I need to drive slightly past the exit and come back in from the east?
3.)How far away can I end up given that I'm coming in an RV? Are we seperated from the other camping only sights? Will we be closer/further?
Best of luck... most people will tell you it's chance/luck of the draw. RVs are indeed separate, and I personally get there early Thursday morning... But every year is a little different.
