We just packed our backpacks for the Greyhound trip and we just made it under the weight limit...Mine's 47 lbs and Shawn's is 49lbs...Think we got everything we could muster up...Damn is that bottled beer wasn't so heavy ;D ;D ;D Now that that's done......... ???
High Five to Jen for being able to pack everything she needs in two backpacks! ;D We are having problems condensing to Durango and a king cab truck. So far we have 2 tents, a grill (small & portable), probably 2 or 3 coolers, a 12x12 pop up shade tent......and the list keeps growing....Did I mention that there is only 3 of us..lol... Oh and now hubby wants a generator so that we can have fans...I think it would be simpler if I did have to only take 2 backpacks.. You go girl!

I think being forced to condense my stuff because of our travel plans made me re-think my planning...My friend is driving in from Georgia will be bringing a cooler so we can by beverages and stuff to put in it...The only food we paced is some snack food for the bus ride and PB&J for when we arrive...(Hope I can buy bread in the Bonnaroo store..??..) Believe me, because we are coming from so far I felt I needed a lot more than I did....But you choose what you absolutly need and wing the rest once you get there...right?? ;D ;D
I think that you will be just fine, I had friends last year that brought crackers, vienna sausages, Little Debbies, etc. They ended up eating in centeroo and buying stuff from vendors. I don't think that really cost any more than buying $6 bags of ice, trying to keep everything cold., and then deciding that you are too hungover or hot to eat it anyway.
Besides isn't winging it the best part of a road trip! ;D Its always the crazy unexpected things that end up being the best memories.

That's how I'm looking at this Greyhound trip...A big adventure..BTW...I'm not sure generators are allowed at Bonnaroo..??.. You might want to check the Bonnaroo website but I think I read that on the FAQ list...
