I just saw on JamBase that the drummer (Bud Gaugh) and bassist (Eric Wilson) from Sublime are going on what looks like a mini-tour with a new frontman. Let me just say that I f**king love Sublime. And considering I never got into them until years after Bradley died, I would be all about seeing some form of Sublime live, as long as the replacement frontman wasn't Patrick Stump. Unless ticket prices are way higher than they should be, I'm pretty sure I'm gonna burn one down at the Roseland show...

I just watched some videos on YouTube of this new dude. Clearly, he's not Bradley Nowell. But hopefully he doesn't try to be and can just do his own thing and still put on a good show. Fingers crossed.

I just agreed to take my nephew to the Oakland show. I f**king love Sublime, too. But I saw the survivors with Long Beach Dub Allstars and it wasn't the same. I'm not saying it won't be a good show. But it won't really be Sublime, will it?
OK - so I just found out that they are playing at Howlin' Wolf on July 27 which happens to coincide with a week long business trip in NOLA anyway - I'll be there with Boz and my bff
Saw these guys in St. Augustine, FL and the show was great. I had a blast, they played all of their old classics, the crowd was loving it, and the overall energy was positive.
