Oh, man, the Reds broke up a Guardians combined perfect game in the seventh with a bunt. They were only down 2-0 at the time, but man, it's not like they're fighting tooth and nail for anything. I'm kind of a weird traditionalist when it comes to baseball (and virtually nothing else), so that seems pretty late to be doing that, but at least it was a bullpen game for the Guards.
And what the hell's up with them Tigers? At the beginning of the year, I doubt anyone predicted they'd make the playoffs, or the Guardians, or three teams from the AL Central. I love the Guards but they made no moves in the off season and all year we kept expecting them to fail, but they're playing really well right now. Most of us predicted like 70-72 wins.
I drafted a fantasy baseball team for the first time ever. Ten team league:
C - Yainer Diaz 1B - Bryce Harper 2B - Ozzie Albies 3B - Jose Ramirez SS - Trea Turner OF - Michael Harris, Spencer Steer, Jordan Walker Tyler O'Neill Util - Elly De La Cruz (3B, SS)
Bench - J. Lowe (OF), J. Naylor (1B), Z. Gelof (2B), MJ Melendez (C, OF)
i believe it will be sometime this week, terms said 10/4, but that seems a little close to the game, so who knows.
Got the email just now saying I wasn't selected.
ended up getting a sunday package this year, was worth it just for postseason tickets at face value. only got 1 game per series but better than market price
Really just wondering if the top division winners will be affected at all by the curse of the wild card bye.
If it happened again this year then everyones just gonna pick the low seeds to win. I mean for LA its making a difference because Freeman had the ankle injury so 10 days of rest is great
