;D Hey guys! My friends, Natalie and Derek are tying the knot true-love hippie style at Roo this year and looking for someone to perform the ceremony!!!!!! They're going to the Manchester courthouse to get the liscence and everything but they need someone who is authorized to perform this type of ceremony so they can actually make it official at the show!
I want to help give them the best start, if anyone is ordained or knows someone who is who will be at Roo 2007, please let me know!
We are the happy couple getting married! We want to find an ordained minister that would like to marry us at the festival... Derek and I are very easy going and we just want something fun and memorable. Excited and giddy as hell.....

Tell us when and where it's goin' down, and I'm sure Boomerang (Dani Rene) would be more than happy to add you to the unofficial official Inforoo schedule of events!
We are getting married at our campsite. We have a canopy that we are going to set up. With tapestries hanging and garlands on pretty little heads, it will be beautiful, short and sweet. Perfect. Our friends are camping all around us. Since I am not sure where we will be camping, anyone that spots us is more than welcome to witness and take part in the afterpartying!!
Hi, if you haven't found someone I am ordained through Universal Life (the online jammy). I don't have my creds but need to get them anyway because I am officiating at my friend's wedding in the spring. I'll look into what creds I need today... thanks for the reminder and CONGRATS!
Contact me if you still need someone...
EDIT: Ordered my creds, please call me Reverend Allie... ;D

Thanks to this thread, we have officially bumped our wedding up from October to Friday night at Bonnaroo!!!!!!!!! Please excuse us while we dance around our apartment for an undetermined amount of time!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So excited I almost forgot to add, Congrats Natalie and Derek!!
I am ordained minister with the Universal Life Church. If you two are still looking for a minister to preform the ceremony, I would be more than happy to. Although, I would understand you wanted someone with more experience (I'm 21). Send me a message if you haven't already found someone.

I am also an ordained member of the ULC. I would be happy to perform the ceremony if you would like. Just let me know. I have never performed one before, but could probably come up with something, though I think the officant should have a very small roll in the ceremony, with you two reading vows you write yourselves to make it more special.

I'm sorry but this is just the lamest thing I have ever heard. Getting married a roo, what a disgrace
you're lame. they have a love for one another and a love for music that is obviously very strong and passionate... and who are you to define what's a lame place to get married?! i think it's beautiful! ;D
"Walk tall, kick ass, learn to speak Arabic, love music and never forget you come from a long line of truth seekers, lovers and warriors" - Hunter S. Thompson
I have just as much a right as anyone else on here to say what is and what is not a lame place to get married; and in my opinion Roo is an extremely lame/ trashy place to tie the knot.
