Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Why on earth should one keep their opinions to themselves? If you have an opinion you have a right to be able to voice it whether other people like it or not. People protest things all the time. Are you telling them to keep their opinions to themselves? Just from now on use you head before you say things…
It's not about stating one's opinion, it's about putting in a way that doesn't sound like an attack. This is a positive board, Bonnaroo is a positive place with positive people. If you don't think someone should get married there fine, just go easy on your adjectives, lame is a pretty strong one. Saying something like, good luck with the wedding, but I could never see myself being married there. That's stating your opinion without being rude. Remember the rules, be nice!

i normally hate weddings. but this is one wedding i would love to see. being married at Bonnaroo would be so unique.
need a cameraman?
Actually, we do need a cameraman. Since we're doing it at Roo, most of our friends and family won't be there. So having a video of it would be cool! Since everyone that is coming with us will be in the wedding party, they won't be able to videotape us.
And as far as ordained goes, My wife and I were married by a buddy of ours who was ordained through the the Universal Life Church (online) just for our wedding. It was legal and continues to be a great marriage (6 years in July). Nothing against any of the ordained folks here, but you might consider having one of your close friends get ordained so you can have someone special to you officiate. (not that a stranger wouldn't become instantly special after they married you)
my $.02
Hey! That buddy is me! I loved performing your guys' wedding!
Congratz to the OP and her finance. 'Roo is a great place to get hitched.

That's so awesome! And as someone who had the traditional white dress/monkey suits/fancy dinner and dancing I envy you guys! Marriage is about the love an union of two people, not rented halls and rented suits. Nothing better than doing it in a place full of love and music!

^^^ We're gonna be camping at camp inforoo, and also we'll be at the brunch. I'm not sure if you'll be there, but we'll be working out the details friday morning/ afternoon Since we've never been to bonnaroo we're gonna have to play it by ear exactly when and where we're gonna do the ceremony. I know ideally we want to do it between The Roots and Tool. But with enough time to get a good spot at Tool. (lol! You know your way to into music when you want to make sure your wedding doesn't interfere with your spot at a show, I'm glad Adam and I feel the same way!!)
Even if we can't find someone to videotape it, we've got a bunch of disposable camereas and it would be cool if we could find a few people to take pics for us so the wedding party doesn't have to.
