I'm still processing a lot of this. I'm not going to defend what he did. We've talked about it, and he knows I disagree with it, but it's done now and there's no changing the past.
I can assure you that no matter what Roofan thinks, he's not crazy. I'm sure some folks here are making judgments about him (and probably about me for being with him), but nobody on here really knows us and we don't really know any of you. I enjoy interacting with a lot of you (hence my disagreement with what happened), but at the end of the day, he is the one I know and he is the one I want to come home to at night.
For the record, if you don't use wax, dreads start out frizzy and loose and take months to mature into real dreads. Those pictures were taken minutes after we finished backcombing.
I think crazy is a bit strong actually, however petty, vindictive, and just out and out mean are not. I know of at least one person who considered you both friends who is very torn up over this. I don't expect you to base your relationship choices on a internet message board, but his actions put a lot of people in a very uncomfortable position, as I am sure you know. To willfully run people off of a board that supplied your free ticket in 08 is just almost beyond my comprehension. I understand he has had clashes in the past on here, but it takes a special type of angry to try and do that much damage.
Not to mention he in the middle of his little game was making such a target out of me, that I really considered leaving the board. All this was after in his "G King" persona he said an injury was going to keep him from 'roo, and I asked if there was a way to help him around and said I would be willing to sacrifice some of my roo time to make sure he could go. Then he flipped out and started accusing me of being patronizing to handicapped people. Or how about when we were all planning a trip to a festival last year, and "Salamander" also was planning on going then sent me a psychotic rambling e-mail about what a terrible fest it was and how he would never go. I won't say he is crazy but I am now certainly in roofans camp when it comes to my opinion of him.
Also I agree with what meg said I do not, and have never had a problem with you.
